Karan gets media savvy
Actor Karan Mehra will soon be seen playing the role of journalist-cum-TV show host in the serial Sati.
Mehra is said to be working really hard to make his character (called Rajdeep Sikand) come alive on screen. Apparently, many of his friends are journalists and he takes tips from them on how to present news. Mehra says, "The character is inspired by veteran journalist and news anchor Rajdeep Sardesai. Personally, I am quite impressed with his achievements. I observe him and try to learn a thing or two from him. In fact, I have a friend who presents news on Sahara Samay. I often go to him and ask him for advice. It is interesting to see how skilled TV hosts are; they keep their guests comfortable and yet ask them grilling questions. I don't want my character to look contrived and hence am taking all this."
