Sudama is greeted by people on the way, one of them asks him how was his journey, he says he was lucky to take a holy bath in river Ganaga. Other person asks him, he must be leading a satisfied life now, since he has become very rich now. Sudama replies all this is God's Kripa. Now my wife & children must be waiting for me, he leaves from there.
Krishna, SB, JV in Dwaraka are watching this, Krishna says as long as a human being wants to please his senses, he will fall prey to them & will become greedy & arrogant, same has happened to Sudama's family
On reaching home Sudama is surprised to see Susheela scolding one of the dasis. She says she doesn't repeat her saree, throw this one & get a new saree for me. Other dasi by mistake drops perfume. Susheela scolds her, saying this perfume is so valuable, you won't be able to pay for it in your life, get new perfume for me now. Sudama calls her, she is happy to see him., saying you have come at the right time, there is wedding at our neighbour's place, we all have to go there, you get ready, I'll see if the children are ready or not. Sudama tells her to take the prasada, she says keep it at the temple, I don't want my hands to be sticky.
Krishna, SB, JV are watching this. SB & JV are surprised seeing this change.
He goes to the temple, he gets shocked seeing old, dried flowers, the area is not cleant since days. He starts cleaning the idle, removes dried flowers garland, saying Krishna, when I came to your palace, you made me sit on your sinhasana, you touched my feet with your soft hands & washed them. You gave me this wealth, but in my house you have to live in poverty. He cleans the temple area, gets fresh flowers, garland, lamp. While putting the garland on the idle & lamp near it, he makes a decision.
Krishna, JV & SB are watching this. JV says looks like he has made a firm decision about something. Krishna agrees to it.
Susheela comes to call Sudama, is surprised to see him stiching his old torn cloths. She asks him why is he doing this, Sudama replies I want to stay connected to my past. Susheela says living in present in riches & looking at the future is not wrong. Sudama tells her, you used to look better in simple saree taking God's name during those days compared to this expensice saree & gold jewellery. Susheela is shocked hearing this, she tells him if you are going to wear this old clothes, then it is better you don't come with us.
Krishna is watching this change In Sudama's life.
