yaar ritzy this maan is amazing d way he expresses himself is awsome no wonder geet was still in awe...
his each word was so deep...
but yaar i rolled on the floor wid his "colors yaad kar rahi ho" n den geet's cribbing to her babaji bout dusht danav ki ye pyar bhi chilla chilla ke karte hain...
d reason's he gave for the choices of sarees were lovely...his each reason was filled wid sooo much of luv...
hmmm since dat tym m in wonders ki maan ne ye sazaa ki sazaa mein kya plan kar rakha hai...bechari geet seriously pari ke saamne paani paani ho gai...lol
sweet cute adorable emotional awsome romantic jo kaha jaye is update ke liye wo kam hai...

Thanks for your comments. Here is the next part. I am posting it early because I am quite busy in office tomorrow and may not be able to come on IF.

Also this is part (a) of Sangeet and I will post the next part either tomorrow or on Thursday. There will be another update on Friday so part b is like a bonus as it is little short.

Guys from now on whatever dresses Geet will be wearing for her wedding is what I wore on my marriage…only a lot more opulently shown in the FF…ab I am not a business women handling millions right!!! But colors and basic work is the same. Just wanted to let you know (now I will not get any criticism right!!!!)

Chapter 96 a - Sangeet

9^th March 4:00 PM

Geet stared at the purple net saree embroidered with silver thread and adorned with amethysts. She lovingly placed her hand on it and only word she could think of was "Exquisite". She had never seen anything like this before. She gingerly picked it up and felt its weight. She marveled as how the delicate net held so much weight on it. Her eyes turned a shade darker as she saw satin and net matching blouse and a satin underskirt. By the look itself she could see that it was perfectly sized for her. Her cheeks turned red at the thought of Maan packing this for her.

Today morning he had come to deliver her dress for the Sangeet tonight and had whispered in her ears so huskily that his voice had made her week in the knees – "Mishti…I am dreading to see you in this….God only knows how I am going to hold myself"

Geet sighed dreamily as she traced her finger on the matching jewelry Maan had kept with it. A beautiful set in white gold with large amethysts surrounded with diamonds.

Pari walked in disturbing her thoughts and started her rant again like everybody since morning – "Maan has really gone mad….wow…I mean wow….seriously kitni pyaari saree hai Geet"

Geet just smiled. Pari slapped her forehead - "Off, o Babes….this pregnancy is making me so….Uhhh…..I came to tell you to get ready to go to parlor and here I am just wasting time blabbering….chal…jaldi se chal"

Geet nodded and picked the saree and went to parlor to get ready.

8:00 PM Taj Hotel Ballroom

Geet entered the room with Pari and Pinky and was pleasantly surprised to see the dcor. Purple chiffon curtains mingled with lilac and white ones. Lavender flowers adorned the walls and all the tables filling the room with its scent. Same color candles twinkled on the tables.

Geet looked at Pari – "Lekin humne to kuch aur decide kiya tha phir…."

Pari smiled – "Maan planned this surprise for you. He knows your love for purple color so he wanted to do this for you"

Geet's eyes welled up but even before tear could fall on her cheek; Maan came there to hold her hand.

Maan- "Yeh kya Geet…I don't like these tears in your eyes"

Geet could just look at him with pure love in her eyes. Much later when Pari nudged her to go further did her gaze waver to see Maan properly. He was looking very dashing in a black suit with purple lining on his collar and lapels. He wore a very light lilac shirt inside and looked ravishing. Color flooded to Geet's cheek as she checked out her would be hubby and felt extremely shy when realized that her appraisal had not gone unnoticed

As they sat down next to each other Maan leaned in – "Geet tum aaj is jahan ki nahin lag rahi ho….pariyaan bhi itni khubsurat nahi ho sakti….aisa lagta hai jaise ki kaynaat ki saari khubsurati aaj tum me sama gayi ho"

Geet blushed – "Kya baat hai Dr Khuarana….I could never imagine you to be saying such romantic lines"

Maan chuckled – "Ab kya karoon….even I never thought that one day an angel will come into my life and change my whole being"

Geet – "Waise Maan….thanks…I mean yeh Saree…yeh saare arrangements"

Maan interrupted her – "yeh kuch bhi nahi hai Jaan…tumhaare aage yeh to bas ek tarika hai zaahir karne ke liye ki I love you….bas aur kuch nahin"

Their attention was suddenly taken by Raj who stood at the clearing in front.

Raj – "Hello everyone…..dear friends and family, today we have all gathered to bless a couple whose match was made by God in heaven….to dance, enjoy and take part in the happiness as these two souls become one. I officially kick start Sangeet of Maan and Geet, my two children with a small skit prepared by my two daughters – Annie and Pari. They will take you through the journey of these two lovebirds as they met and came to a point where they became one heart. Annie will be doing role of Geet and Pari will be Maan"

Lights were dimmed and projector projected image of Geet in a hospital gown. (it was taken when Geet had robbery incident).

Annie who was playing role of Geet came on stage lying on a stretcher being pushed by a waiter. All laughed as Pari dressed in a white coat with stethoscope around her neck came and started checking Geet. Pari gazed lovingly at Annie as she took a big knife and scissor and pretended to do the surgery.

Projector shifted to images of Geet's birthday in Mumbai.

Rishab sat on chair and Pari dressed as Maan said – "Dad….let's move to Delhi….what do you think"

Rishab grinned – "Offcourse beta"

Geet blushed as she held Maan's hand. Rishab while going away shouted at them – "What…you seriously thought we won't catch upon it…that was the best decision you took in your love"

Rishab flew a kiss at Maan as he got off stage

Next Pari and Annie dressed as Maan and Geet came and started fighting with each other

Pari (Maan) – "Kahan thi tum…kab se wait kar raha hoon main"

Annie (Geet) held her ears and said sorry

Rahul gave both of them side hug

Next picture of Geet and Maan from Adi-Pinky's marriage were flashed.

Pinky and Adi came on bed holding hands and phone in other hands. They were talking on their phones to Annie (Geet) and Pari (Maan)

Annie (Geet) was sobbing– "I love him"

Pari (Maan) was drinking from a beer bottle – "I love her"

Pinky and Adi banged their heads with phone

A bus toy was rolled onto the middle of stage and Pari (Maan) pretends to slip on the bus toy. Annie (Geet) comes and helps her on a chair. She then gets down on her knees – "I love you"

Pari (Maan) pretends to wipe her tears and hugs her "I love you too"

Rishab hangs an artificial moon from the side. Adi and Pinky come huffing "we don't know how to do karwachauth rituals"

Pari(Maan) and Annie(Geet) take them near the moon. Adi and Pinky go away. Pari(Maan) places a waist chain on Annie and kisses her stomach.

This garnered wolf whistles from the crowd and Geet blushed so hard that she hid her face in Maan's arms.

Scene again shifted. Maan stiffened thinking about what happened next and Geet could read his tension. But her heart smiled seeing two chairs and Raj and Rishab sitting on them. Pari (Maan) sat in front of them kneeling down on one knee. "I love her Dad….Please mujhe meri Geet de do"

Pictures from their engagement flashed in the background.

The skit ended with Nisha, Juhi, Rahul, Adi and Pinky on stage with Pari (Maan) and Annie(Geet) exchanging rings and hugging each other.

Everybody clapped hard as the lights came back to normal. Tears were flowing thru Geet's eyes and even Maan felt little misty at the love and affection their family had portrayed so beautifully. They both moved ahead and hugged everyone giving a big squeeze to Annie. Pari was saved because of her pregnancy but Geet could not stop from giving her a kiss on her cheek. Pari quipped to lighten the mood "Yeh mujhe hai ki Maan ko hai"

Geet hit on her shoulder shying.
