Audiences today are quick to respond to developments on their favourite shows. Be it the introduction, death or replacement of a character, viewer sentiments can no longer be ignored.

This is exactly the case with Star One's youth show Remix. Its going off air has angered its loyalists—teens, primarily. In fact, they are circulating hate mail to the channel and the show's producer Shrishti Arya. So far, nearly 2000 viewers have signed an online petition called 'Save Remix' that seeks the channel's intervention to continue Remix.

"I would like it if Remix continued, but ending it is the channel's decision. I have been receiving hate mails on the same issue. Viewers must realise that Remix is the stepping stone to more such cult shows. I would love a comeback, but I don't know when that'll happen. We are winding up the show in a manner that'll allow us to return. The last episode is inspired by all the mails I get," says Shrishti Arya.

"I am very proud of Remix and the way it has helped students develop their relations with their parents. Many are protesting online. Remix has a lot of fan sites that hold strong presence among internet users. I understand their anger, but it's heartbreaking," she says.

I just want 2 say that although I don't watch Remix, I feel what many of u r going through and 4 ur sake I hope the show doesn't end. I'm glad I did sign the petition and tried 2 help u the way I could, I just hope they will have sense and listen 2 what the viewers have 2 say and want.

the most true and apt points in this article 😳 guys do u realise....our protest made the papers....so tht very much means tht star one and kekta and her ppl would hv defnitly heard abt this...and still they dont go bk on their decision....losers[this is the kindest word ive found 4 them].....

btw i dont blame poor sa for this y r ppl sending HER h8 mail?😆 the poor thing obviously wont want to take her own show off air wud she 😆...to date the only reason ive blamed her is for ay ignorance =))...but this is remix ending were talkin abt ....and we'll jst have to live with it 😭 since we hv no choice >:P .....

but ive got hope frm wat SA says abt "we're endin in sch a way v can strt agen" 😳 tht sounds cooooool,it obviously means tht theres still hope,tht if kektas show flops remix will strt agen...so ppl watre u w8in for get ur thinking caps on and decide how to make a kekta show flop 😕.....we hv enaf remix fans/kekta h8ers to boycott tht ladys show~~any other bright ideas?😆😳...after all v r NOT givin up on r protest to get remix back,evn after it ends 😉.....also SA sed tht the last episode has been inspired frm the mails sent to her 😲😲....cnt w8 2 c wat she means by tht?😳 if its based on viewer reviews then its bound to be cool!!!!!!!! 😳 [c i find a positive side in evrythin😆]
