Ankit Gera steps out of Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya!

Now days Star Plus' show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya is somehow managing to remain in the buzz. Earlier it was in talks because of Pratigya's (Pooja Gor) on screen mom Naina Ji (Monika Singh) leaving the show in between and then for its concerned leap.

However, the first casualty ever since news of the leap has come out is concerning Ankit Gera, who plays Adarsh in the show.

A source informs that the actor doesn't want to become a part of the four-year impending leap and play a father on the show. Apparently, apart from other major changes, Adarsh and Komal will also become proud parents.

When a birdie contacted Ankit, he confirmed the development saying, "I don't want to continue post the leap. I want to do something really different from what I'm doing right now." With Ankit quitting the show, a new face will have to step in his shoes to essay his role and take the story ahead.

Incidentally, Ankit was in the news when his on-screen mother Monica Singh quit the show a few months ago. He and Monica were involved in real life and she opted out of the serial after their relationship went kaput.

Let's see who replaces the actor in upcoming episodes!
