Episode begins with Rajbeer kneeling before Beeji and asking to have him to their help. Beeji asks how can he help them as he is Dhruv's friend. So he becomes a 'ladkewala'. Rajbeer asks how could she make him an outsider by calling him her son. Masterji tells that he has already done a lot to their family. Rajbeer says he want to do more. By making him an outsider they are keeping him away from eating the delicious food at their house and also excluding him from all the festivities and naach gaana that take place there. Beeji has tears in her eyes listening to Rajbeer's words. But he asks her to save those tears for Ishu's bidaai when even he would join them. Preeto, Meeta, Masterji are moved by this. (Bani slips from the scene giving a disgusted look) Rajbeer says now they would start all the planning and first of all must begin with sangeet preparations. Masterji tells that first of all they have to meet Vandana Khan and have a talk with her. Meanwhile upstairs, Ishu asks Bani who has come and she replies that Neelam aunty had come to talk about the wedding. On further prodding by Ishu, she adds that Rajbeer also is present and trying to interfere in their family matters.
Rajbeer says he would do that work as he is well known to Neelam aunty's tastes and liking. Even Masterji wants to go with him but they stop him as he needs rest. Preeto says that she would go to Vandana Khan alone as Rajbeer might have some work of his own. But Rajbeer says that he has taken a leave of 10days. He says that he can manage the work alone. Preeto tells that she knows the details regarding their budget. So its better if she goes. On the other hand, Rajbeer says he knows the taste of Dhruv's mom better. Finally the family asks them both to go together. Ishu who is witnessing this scene senses the tension between Rajbeer and Preeto.
Both are at Vandana Khan's office. Uncomfortable of being together, Preeto absent mindedly is flicking through the pages of a magazine which is upturned. Rajbeer notices and asks whether it's a new style. Preeto caught in her act stands to wait outside when Vandana enters. They discuss about the details of the wedding. And finally she declares that the budget would come to 45 lakhs. Preeto is shocked to hear this.
At the Dhillon's, Dolly aunty is telling Beeji that they should gifts to all guests as it's the first wedding of their house. Beeji says that they wont be able to afford it. Dolly taunts that they should have thought about it before deciding the marriage. Preeto and Rajbeer arrive and a tired Preeto tells everyone about the 45 lakh offer. All are shocked. Beeji asks whether the marriage is happening on the moon. Dolly again puts her mouth in between. So mamaji diverts her attention and sends her in. Mamaji suggests that they should all come together and plan the wedding as used to happen during olden days. All get excited by this plan. Even Rajbeer gives some inputs. He says that if Preeto could stitch designer clothes worth lakhs within thousands of rupees why cant they have the wedding done within 4 lakhs in the same extravagant style. Preeto says that there is a lot of difference between the 2 matters. They have never arranged a wedding before. Rajbeer says that there is always a first time. This way everyone decides about their respective responsibilities for the wedding. Rajbeer leaves saying that he has to go for Dhruv's sherwani trial.
Preeto comes to talk to him outside. She says that she can manage the things herself. She doesn't want to burden him by her responsibilities. Rajbeer asks her not to worry as he would never cross the line of relationship that she has drawn between them. But that line would never keep him away from her family and their happiness. He says that Aunty has considered him as her son and it gives him happiness in doing something for them. Preeto is lost in thoughts. Rajbeer leaves but turns to look at her and thinks that he would always do his duties for Dhillon family and always love Preeto whether he gets Preeto's love or not..
Preeto comes to Ishu's room in search of a dupatta. Ishu asks her if everything is alright between her and Rajbeer. Meanwhile, Dhruv is trying out his sherwani and tells Rajbeer that the sherwani which Preeto had stitched for him during Jogi's wedding was perfect. Rajbeer thinks about the moment when Preeto was taking his measurements then. Dhruv shakes him out of his thoughts and asks why is he so lost since few days.
Preeto tells Ishu that she and Rajbeer are very different in their thinking and they are poles apart from each other. They never reach an agreement and always fight over silly things. All this led them to believe that they can never be together and so they have broken up. Rajbeer is giving the same explanation to Dhruv.
Ishu asks how could she just break up when she had kept the karva chauth ka vrath for him just a week back and had developed such deep feelings for him. Preeto says that she was emotional that time and listened to her heart. But this time she is listening to her mind and both she and Rajbeer have come to conclusion that they are happier away from each other.
Dhruv listens to the same explanation given by Rajbeer but doesn't think much about it. he goes on to try the next sherwani. Rajbeer thinks that he has kept his promise to Preeto that no one would know the real reason behind their breakup. He has managed to convince Dhruv but how will he convince himself.
As Preeto is searching through her clothes Ishu thinks that there is definitely something more to Preeto's story and she will find out about it. Preeto comes out and thinks with tears in her eyes that she had lie to Ishu coz she would be more disturbed about the matter than she was. The episode ends with Rajbeer and Preeto's sad faces.
