OH My My
This was a finalle which I could not have even imagined. It was par excellence. I can't fathom why you were woried. I loved it immensely and totally. Every line, every bit had drama and emotion weaved into it. The horror, pity and resentment of past collided with love and mistakes of the present.
They way story moved between two worlds was amazing.
Starting scene portraying Geet-Sharmilla and Annie's intereaction portrayed Sharmilla's desire and Annie's fear beautifully.
Vicky and Arjun finding Raj and Arohi in mortal danger was heart wrenching.
But yes the piece of cake was Geet-Sharmilla intercation with Maan. Sharmilla's pain, her desire to feel loved, desire to marry was so pronounced and emotional. Maan married her for her peace but his surprise when she wanted him to come with her.
Maan's intercation with Geet / Ducky at that point was so poignant. Amy and Adi pitched in but only Maan had that kind of a hold on Geet's heart.
It was heart wrenching when Sharmila told how she came that night into castle. But it was even more breaking when she said confidently that Geet will not trust Maan anymore as she realises the truth.
Maan acceptance of his fault and his confession was superbly done. And the last bit where you show the effect of this on Geet brought back the warmth and hope which can only be associated with true love.
Amazing part is all what I can say and I loved the way story weaved between multiple ages and people to become one.

Geet lost her memory on the prom night, right? So I wanted to show that she picks up her life from where she has left it. The incidence in part 24-2 are NOT during the prom night but much later.
Maan's words not only make her remember her past (college) but also gives her strenght to fight. Sorry if it was confusing but she is not there literally, just her mind (or soul if you want)... Is that clear???

I can fully understand ur view point but don't you think that if I punish Maan like this, then Geet will suffer more? Remember how Geet reacted subconciously when she was kept away from MAan. Now she will remember him and her love and how will she do that to him??? People like the Geet in my story may be called stupid because they should thoroughly punish Maan but on the other hand, forgiveness is very rare in such cases. And I think that someone who has the ability to forgive such a big thing is much greater than someone who punishes the offender.

Sorry if things will not go as u would like to see them but still thank you very very much for your comment. I appreciate it a lot that you showed me ur view point...

Hello my dear readers. I am truely overwhelmed by the response. That is why I am updating again and posting the last two chapters. Chapter 26 and Epilogue... becasue if I don't post the epilogue, it will be another cliffhanger.

Chapter 26: The last Battle

Dadi, Sheilja and Yuvraj were sitting at Maan's bed. Days had passed since the moment that had caused their hearts to stop. Right after Maan had dropped to the ground, the police had forcefully entered the castle and found both Maan and Geet lying there, lifeless. Armaan had arranged for their direct transport to the nearest hospital and had send men to search for Vicky, Raj, Arjun and Arohi who were all found shaken but alive.

Yuvraj had been in touch with the police since. The three dead bodies had been given to Tejawar's family to be cremated. Brij had asked Preeti if she wanted to see them one last time but after what she had experianced, she wanted to keep away from then as much as possible. Never in her life had she imagined that her own family would turn so greedy for wealth that wasn't even theirs.

Raj and Arohi had also been admitted into hospital but were discharged after two days. Yuvraj had arranged for their stay in Khurana Mansion with Sheilja and Dadi till everything wasn't sorted.

"Good evening." Armaan entered the room, followed by Dr Shashank. Armaan checked on Maan and Dr Shashank explained to the three about Maan's current condition.

"The poison has been successfully removed from his body. It had been close because we were not only dealing with a poison but an old and more leathal poison. Also, Maan had taken in the entire content which he wouldn't have survived if he wouldn't have reached here in time." Sheilja put her hand on Dadi's shoulder.

"Right now, he is out of danger but I strongly advise him to take complete bed rest for another two weeks and stay in hospital so that we can keep an eye on him. One can never say if there is a damage that we have overlooked and we don't want to take any risks." Yuvraj thanked the doctor and he left.

Armaan was sitting next to Maan and sqeezed his hand.

"How is Geet?" Dadi questioned Armaan, now that they were alone and Maan was asleep.

"Everything considered, she is ok. She still has a tough time ahead of her but with all our support I am sure she will come out of this nightmare again." Armaan stopped and then remembered something.

"Yuvraj uncle, what about the three kidnappers? Will the police take action against Geet?" Yuvraj shook his head. He had talked to Inspector Rathore this morning.

"Geet was not in her senses and he could technically put this under self defence even if the way she…the spirit murdered them was quite brutal. But he assured me that Geet will be left alone in this matter and since no one will file a case, there will not be an issue." Armaan sighed in relief.

Shortly after midnight, when everyone was at home, Maan woke up. Physically, he was feeling a little weak but his mind was fresh after the long sleep. He felt for the button and called the nurse who informed Armaan.

"Maan, how are you feeling?" Armaan asked, glad to see his friend awake. He was fiddeling with the equipment and tubes but Maan held his hand.

"How is Geet?" Armaan couldn't help it and smiled. Even after everything, his first thought was about Geet. The fact that Maan had drunk the poison in order to save Geet proved to him that finally, Maan had accepted his mistake and was willing to recitfy it.

"She is ok. A little more damage than we would have thought but she will pull through."

"I want to see her." Maan made a pleading face but this was where Armaan had to be strict.

"No ways Maan. Firstly you are on complete bed rest and secondly if Dr Shashank finds out, I'll be out of here before I can say a word."

"Please yaar, do it for old times sake. Remember when you were head over heels in love with Riddhi, I helped you cut curfew at hostel to meet her? Take it as payback for that. Please!"

"Oh my, I would have never thought that I would see the day were Maan Singh Khurana would beg for something." But he gave in, afterall it was a matter of the heart for both.

With help, Maan got into a wheelchair and Armaan waited in a corner to give both some privacy.

Geet was white as a sheet and totally lifeless. Her hands were cold and she was bandaged in so many places that Maan could hardly see any skin. Just the sight of her laying inbetween so many machines and being connected to multiple tubes was making his heart wrench.

"What exactly…I mean how bad is she injured?" Maan whispered to Armaan. Armaan scratched his head, unsure if he should really tell Maan.

"You know, from all the crashes and falls she has many broken ribs and bones. There was a lot of internal injuries which we could handle. When she wakes up, we will have to see what else there is." Maan looked at Geet. He dreaded to ask the next question but before he could voice his thought, Armaan already answered.

"I don't know if she will remember or how much she will remember. I guess that her encounter with Sharmila, her fear and the fight against her so shortly after her discovery that you…we all had cheated her must have caused her brain to completely lose here memory to safe itself from more damage. While she had forgotten everything, even Sharmila must have had difficulties to oriantate herself since Geet didn't remember, Sharmila couldn't make use of Geet's thoughts, memories, her love and also her betrayl. But then Geet met you and slowly some incidents came back. Arjun told me that Geet asked him not once but twice about you. She must subconiously still have had a strong connection to you. I guess it was then that she realised partly that she loved you or still loved you. I am not sure about this. You remember about Sharmila telling you how her mother had promised to always be there for her and how she was locked up and not let out? Arjun wanted to keep Geet away from you to keep her out of harms way. In a way, both Arjun and Sharmila's mother thought about the best for both but the Sharmila in Geet spoke up when Arjun wanted to "lock" her away." Armaan paused and put his hand on Geet's forehead which was cold but not too cold. Maan could understand. Even after all he had done, she couldn't forget him and couldn't stop loving him. He really didn't deserve her. His thought went to Vicky and Rajeshwari. His brother had proven to have a heart of gold by forgiving Raj so easily after he became aware of her motive. All pain and deeds were forgiven and now they were happy together.

Will Geet forgive him? Will she even remember him? According to what Armaan had said, her brain made her lose her memory to safe her from more damage, it might do it again after what she had gone through in that single day.

Armaan drove Maan back to his room and filled him in about the others. Raj and Arohi were ok and currently in Khurana Mansion with Annie who was also unharmed. Adi and Arjun came to meet Geet everyday and had also come to meet him but he hadn't waken up before to realise. Brij was back in Hoshiarpur and Rano also left. She had met with Amro and Pinky and they had sorted out all issues. Rano was happy to see her daughter well off and promised never to interfere in her life and that of Amro and Mohan. Brij promised to keep in contact and so did Preeti. Dev had called Ferri and informed her. Not long after, she had brought a team to investigate about the castle closer and to search for anything that might be of interest for the three owners.

Three months later:

There was hustle bustle in Khurana Mansion. Today, after much waiting, all five soon to be daughter-in-laws would be gathered together under one roof to get engaged. Nakul had a hard time to get everything arranged in the short time he had been given. When Dadi had raised the topic of Veer's and Annie's engagement, they both had voice their wish to wait till all four brother's could get engaged together. Dadi was happy for Veer, Maan and Dev and seeing his love for Raj, also Vicky. But one more son of hers had to finally accept his feelings for the lady he so lovingly called his annoying side effect. It had come to a shock for Arjun, when Yuvraj and Sheilja had announced in a very serious way to him that they had found a suitable bride and he was to get engaged with the other four brothers. Arjun respected their wish as both were like parents to him and had litrally fallen of his seat when they annouced the bride to be none other than Arohi. Both were happy even without confessing any feelings for each other. They knew what they meant to the other one and that was all they needed.

Soon the day came. Geet was still not fully healed and walked on crutches. Armaan had ordered full rest during the rest of the time and everyone made sure she didn't even life a finger.

Geet could recall every minute that had passed by, from her childhood with her parents to her college time, the night of the prom and also the time when her previous memory had gone. She couldn't, though, remember anything that had happened in the castle, after she had been brought there by Tejawar which the others saw as a true blessing. For a few days after her gaining conciousness again, Maan stopped visiting her and only came during night when he thought her to be asleep. He couldn't confront her and his fear to make matters worse by saying of doing the wrong thing grew by every minute. Other than he had expected, all his feares vanished the minute Geet took him into her arms. She had sobbed and cried endlessly and even Maan didn't hold back his tears. Geet carressed his face and head and ran her hands through his hair as she often used to do. As she called him Jaanu, he knew that she had forgiven him completely.

Vicky and Dev stood, again, together and inspected the crowd as they had done for Veer's and Maan's first engagement. They remembered the fiasco with the saris and chuckled. Inedvartantly, their eyes shifted to the Vardan sisters, who had also come. They hadn't been happy at all but couldn't protest either after their own parents had accpeted Veer's and Maan's decision. Now, since they were single again, they kept their eyes open for new fishes to catch. The lights dimmed and this time the five girls came from the guest room as Geet couldn't manage the stairs. Clad in a purple lehenga, Pinky came first. Mohan had put his arm over Amro's shoulder and they watched proudly how their daughter was happy and content. Next came Annie, who had opted for a dark green and red lehenga. She winked at Veer, who blushed deeply.

"Bro, Annie bhabi is supposed to blush, why are you blushing?" Dev whispered but found that Veer was too drowned in the sight to hear the comment.

As next, Geet, Raj and Arohi entered last. Geet had put away her cruches and asked the other two to help her. For this one evening, she wanted to be with Maan and not remind him of the awful past. Vicky had been most exiced and now after seeing Rajeshwari in an orange lehenga, he hardly could control his urge to engulf her in his arms and kiss her there and then. Raj, who knew well what Vicky must be thinking, gave him a don't-you-dare look. Arjun tried to be the cool dude and pretend that Arohi, who was wearing a baby pink lehenga, was not affecting him at all. But once their gazes met, he drop the faade and for the first time in his life, complimented her with his eyes.

Geet had turned all red, not because of shyness but because of embaressment. Maan was gawping at her so shamelessly that she felt like hitting him. Due to her bruises and bandages, all ladies had come up with an awasome idea. Geet wore a beige lehenga with long sleeves and her dupatta was put over her head and around her waist to hide her open back. Due to the type of design of the dress, she looked nothing less like a real princess. Yuvraj closed Maan's mouth twice but it fell open again. He gave up on his son and took the mic.

"I want to welcome everyone tonight who gave us the honour to join the engagement ceremony of all five children of ours." He looked at Arjun, who was clearly touched by the open announcement.

"To introduce the couples, we firstly have Veer and Anvesha." The couple came up the stage and took their positions while the guests applauded.

"Then there is Arjun and Arohi." Both came up, hand in hand. Arjun stood with his back to Annie and Arohi opposite to him.

"Then, Maan and Geet." Geet looked at Raj and Pinky for help but before she knew, Maan had gently lifted her up and carried her to the stage. The guests applauded a little more for them and also laughed when Geet wacked Maan's shoulder.

"Dev and Pinky, please come up." Dev led Pinky up and they also stood at their designated positions. Before Yuvraj could say something they heard Vicky say:

"Dad, can I come now? Kitni der aur? (How long now?)" Everyone shook their head and laughed at his comment and Sheilja pulled his one ear, while Dadi pulled the other.

Finally, all five couples were standing on the stage and exchanging rings. The guys were facing one side an the girls the other, all in one row. The photographer, who had also taken shots the last time gave his best and took one snap right at the moment when all guys were making the girls wear their rings and the other way round. The evening went well and the ceremony was followed by dinner and dance.

All four couples danced and Geet sat on the couch and watched. Everyone had told her that she will be able to enjoy fully on her wedding so she shouldn't feel down. At this point, Arjun, Armaan and Maan saw tears in Geet's eyes which she tried hard to hide.

"Geet, what happened? Are you ok? Do you want to rest? Are you tired?" they overwhelmed her with questions. She shook her head and gave a small smile.

"Wo, I just thought about the prom. I never got to dance with Maan and even now you are not allowing me. What if I still cannot walk properly on my wedding, I will miss my dance then also na." Maan looked at Ammy, who shrugged.

"Gudiya, don't say this. All will be better in a few months believe me." But Geet didn't stop crying. Maan sighed and took off his shoes and socks. Then he also removed Geet's sandels. He whispered something into Armaan's ear who rushed off to the stage. Maan lifted Geet and carried her a second time onto the stage. He held her around her waist and made her stand on his feet. Geet put her arms around Maan's neck and held him tightly.

"Maan, call the others also na." She tilted her head and made a baby face. The others were tired but obliged happily. The DJ played a romantic slow number to which the couples swayed arm in arm and when the song ended loud bangs were heard on the stage. This was rather unexpected for everyone. The large balloons which hung right over the stage burst and glittering confetti rained onto them. A moon was dropped from the ceiling and came into the range of the spotlight. An angel descended right next to it and wiggeld with her wand. As she moved to the other side, the guests could see words appearing magically that spelled: May we stay together, with a lot of love and laughter, today and ever after. Everyone applauded since the Khurana's had managed to end this engagement party in such a memorable way but the family were clueless themselves. They each thought it to be the other and were also very glad about this blessing for them. Geet looked up at the railing and saw Nakul holding the strings to the Angel puppet and lifted a thumb to thank him when Maan wasn't watching.

Epilogue

Veer and Annie retired to their room. They had been busy the entire day and felt glad that the even proceeded without any kinds of interuptions. Annie rested against the pillows and Veer caressed her little baby pump. A tear fell onto Veer's hand and he saw Annie spilling silent tears. He took her into his arms and kissed her forehead.

"Don't you worry, Annie. Nothing will happen." Annie nodded. Months had passed the incidence at the castle but Veer could feel Annie still being affected by it all. She never made it obvious but since they had gotten married, he had noticed it. Annie had nightmares sometimes and they were all about the night in the castle where she had seen Sharmila emerge from Geet and kill the three kidnappers right infront of her eyes. Over the time, Annie had started to forget everything but today, she strangly remembered everything so vividly. As if it had just happened yesterday. Veer was clueless as to how to get Annie forget. Armaan and Dr Kirti had simply suggested that time was the best medicine and he just supported Annie to get through this difficult phase. The quickly approaching arrival of their first child was helping Annie a lot as she was concentrating on the baby most of the time and once the baby was born, Veer hoped that Annie would come out of the nightmare completely.

Next door, Dev waited impatiently for Pinky to finish her call. Brij and Preeti had not been able to come to Delhi for the wedding and so Pinky felt it was her responsibilty to fill her dearest sister-in-law in with all details. At a point, Dev simply took the phone and said into the speaker that Pinky would call tomorrow and cut the call. Pinky stared unbelievable at Dev.

"Dev, what was that? Is this a way to behave?"

"I shall ask you this, Pinky. All day long you work and are busy or go to your maika and then in the evening you keep yourself busy with calling all relatives you couldn't meet during the daytime." Pinky pouted and made a baby face. Since she had met her brother and sister-in-law she had formed a strong bond with them. Even Daarji, who was her paternal grandfather was in close contact and there was nothing both did not share. The initial fear of her new family was long gone but to Dev's displeasure that meant for him that his wife spend less time with him.

"Don't say that. I am here, no?"

"Physically yes, mentally no." Pinky again made a baby face.

"Ok, I am giving you all my attention. Now, what is it that you want?" Dev's expression told her what he had in mind and she turned a deep shade of red.

Arjun ducked as Arohi threw the empty jug towards him. He was glad to have his room on this side of the mansion where almost noone stayed.

"Arohi, stop this. I will seriously get hurt." He really ment it but he still couldn't hold his laughter. They had moved into Khurana Mansion after their marriage on Dadi's insistance. What will they do alone in Mumbai when Geet and Raj both were in Delhi now, she had explained.

And since they moved in, their fights had only increased. Arohi was still the same old girl, who never listened to a word said by Arjun but Arjun had changed a great deal after their engagement. Not one chance did he let go where he didn't tease Arohi or annoyed her. It was if the smile on his face refused to leave him. Arohi was glad about that but hated the fact that all the jokes he laughed about were on her account.

Just today morning, Arohi had asked Arjun to take out her jeweller set from her locker when her old photo album got into his hands. Of course he looked through it and instantly recognised why she hadn't shown the photographs to him. They were all showing Arohi as a baby in dipers or at her mundan or even when she was having a baby bath. She looked extremly cute but he didn't leave the chance to tease her.

Before the next set of glass items came flying towards him, he grabbed Arohi and pulled her onto the sofa. Both were breathing heavily.

"You are happy, aren't you?" Arohi asked him, caressing his face.

"Of course I am. I got another chance to make fun of you, so why shouldn't I?" Arohi hit him rather hardly on his arm and he winced in pain.

"I mean that we moved here with family and now that Geet is happy." Arjun's smile faded. Arohi cursed herself for bringing up such a topic as such a moment.

"I would have never thought to have a family again, after my fight with Maan. He was everything to me, from best friend to brother and support. And he let me be part of his family which was the greatest gift I received. This is why I am somehow glad that things got sorted out and now both Gudiya and Maan are happy the way things worked out. Silence followed which was broken by Arjun's sudden burst of laughter as he lifed the snap of Arohi where she had just gotten her head shaved. And again, Arohi jumped on him for making fun of her.

Raj sighed deeply as she saw Vicky's sleeping form. He had taken up more work for this wedding than anyone else because he wanted everything to be perfect. That was also the reason that when Raj return to their room, Vicky was already sleeping with his clothes on. She sat next to him and observed his innocent face. Even today, when she looked at him, she felt disgusted with herself for having caused him so much pain. Bad enough she had hurt him once intentionally, she also hurt him by breaking the promise she had given herself.

When Sharmila had taken over Geet, she had panicked and yelled out for her sister in the hope that she would get out of that state. But to her horror, Geet had pulled her along and made her swollow something. She lay on the bed and after Geet had left she spat out what ever she had in her mouth. She felt so miserable seeing Geet like that and the fear of being in such a place and situation made her lose hope of ever getting out again. She had given up hope of living when her eyes closed due to exaustion and she didn't even think once about Vicky. Had't he found her, shaken her back to life, then she would have been dead by now.

Since that day, he hardly ever left her alone and she knew that sometimes he purposely kept her close to him, fearing she might leave again. Even when he voiced his wish of their early marriage, she didn't object even if she felt that it might be a bit too soon.

And she was glad having agreed to him because since then, he felt much better and certain that she was now his.

Raj got up and changed her clothes. Then she changed Vicky and joined him. He was in deep sleep but turned towards her and entwingled his hand with hers. Raj smiled and kissed his hand before drifting off to sleep.

Maan locked his door and turned towards the large bed. He frowned as he had expected Geet to be waiting for him there but she was standing on the balcony. He slowly walked up to her and called out. Geet jumped slighty as Maan put his hands on her shoulder.

"Kya baat hain Geet? Kin khayalo mein khoi hui ho? (What's the matter Geet? In which thoughts are you lost?)" Geet again looked into the clear night sky and spoke in a rather serious tone.

"I was thinking about Sharmila." Maan didn't like this and grunted.

"Geet, we got married today. All our dreams came true, your dream came true and you are thinking about such a thing?"

"I have to Maan. As I was walking around the holy fire with you, I felt her." Maan grabbed her arm and made her turn gently. He tried to read her eyes. They were calm.

"Geet, I am worried." Maan admitted to her. Just as he thought that the nightmare was over, he didn't want things to get complicated again.

"Don't be, Maan. I just want something from you today." Maan frowned. Everything he owned was Geet's but he had never seen her ask for something. Geet lifted a candel and lit it with a lighter. She held it infront of Maan.

"Will you Maan Singh Khurana promise to stay by Geet's side all your live?" Maan hesitated for just a second. He knew that this was unnecessary for him but he could understand that Geet might still feel uncertain somewhere inside her.

"I do", he said while keeping his hand above the flame and swearing.

"Will you be honest to her and not keep any secrets from her?" Geet asked next.

"I will" he said again.

"Will you provide her with a roof over her head, food and water and all the necessities she will need?"

"I will see to all her needs even before she will voice them", Maan said confidently.

"Will you love Geet and care for her for as long as you two may live together?" Geet ended.

"I will love Geet unconditionally till death does us part."

"To main chalti hu, Maan. Shayad is janam main mere naseeb mein pyaar aur sukh nahin likhe the lekin tum dono ka pyaar dekh ke main tumhe juda karne ka paap nahin karna chahti. Mere dukh aur gusse ne mujhe andha kardiya tha. Mujhe maaf kardena Maan. Uparwala tum dono ki chodi banai rakhe. (I will leave now, Maan. Maybe I was not destined to love or be happy in this life but seeing you two and your love for each other I cannot commit the sin of seperating you. My sorrow and angery made me blind. Please forgive me Maan. May God always keep the two of you together.)" The candle fell from Geet's hands and Maan caught her before she fell. Maan looked at Geet and carried her inside. He thought about calling someone but as he sprinkled some water onto Geet's face, she woke up.

This had been so unexpected for both of them, especially at a time like this. But they were more relieved now than afraid. Finally they knew that everything was over and they could move on without having to look back. Maan saw Geet's lip quiwwer a bit as she was close to crying.

To lighten the mood and get her thoughts to divert he lifted her by her chin and made inspected her face. Geet wondered what Maan was trying to do.

"What are you looking at, Jaanu?"

"I was trying to look for my bold and loving Ducky but I can only see the frightened chicken Geet in front of me." That was enough. Geet's mouth formed a big O. How dare he insult her like this. She turned her head in anger and gave Maan a cold treatment.

"See, this is exactly what I mean. Ducky never got angry like this, she proved that she was bold and also proved that she loved me a lot." Geet's understood what he was trying to get at. But she will show him that she is also Geet Khurana and he will not be able to get away like this, not after insulting her like this.

"Really? Then I will prove how much I love you." Maan got all excited. Just the thought of how Ducky used to sometimes kiss his cheek unexpectedly made him blush. He expected her to be bolder as they were married now. Geet took his hand and he got up. She pulled him closer to herself and just when he was close enough, she pushed him and he fell onto the couch.

"You will sleep on the couch tonight, Mr Maan Singh Khurana. This will teach you not to mess with your wife in future." Geet fakely shot Maan with her hand and blew the none existing smoke. Maan realised that he had gone a bit too far but his word got cut by the pillow that came flying towards him and so did the blanket.

"Geet, meri baat suno. I am sorry baby." Maan's pleading led him nowhere and he cursed his over smart mind. 'I am surely the first Khurana to spend his wedding night on the sofa. I just hope noone will ever find out.' Maan had just drifted to sleep, when he felt something lying next to him. He smiled at her attic and was glad that she couldn't stay away from him even when she was angry. No matter how she was or how past incidences had effected her, one thing had fortunatly not changed and that was her deep love for him.

Maan's words not only make her remember her past (college) but also gives her strenght to fight. Sorry if it was confusing but she is not there literally, just her mind (or soul if you want)... Is that clear???

So are you saying that the conversation between her, Maan, Adi and Armaan in part 24b made her realized that Maan did not love when they were in college and Armaan and others were also using her?

Sorry to be thick but I am still confused. the things I understood are: she is possessed by Sharmila and Maan and other were trying to remind her that she is Geet and wanted her to fight. what made me confused is Part 25 so please help to understand this mystery please...

1. On the actual night of the prom Geet finds out that Maan, Arjun, Armaan and Adi played with her feelings and were using her. After she was left alone, she headed towards the crying castle not knowing where exactly she is going.

2. Sharmila, who hears Geet's cries, calles her to her and they talk. Sharmila decides to live as Geet in her body as she is spellbound by the amoun to love by Geet for Maan (whom she loves now). BUT Geet fights Sharmila as she does not want her to take over her body.

3. Geet's weak physical state and also mental state result in two things:
a) Geet can not completely fight away Sharmila hence Sharmila lives in Geet as Geet.
b) Her mental stress causes her to lose her memory: Geet's last memory as she being Geet was from the night of the prom -> Geet, now having lost her memory and being possesed by Sharmila manages to come out of the castle and falls unconcious there, where she is found by Arjun, Armaan and Adi.

4. Now, in the present, Maan, Armaan and Adi are tryign to make Geet remember her past by recalling all the incidence from college. The want her to remember everything because only like this she will be able to fight off Sharmila.

5. In the Chapter, the night of the prom, I did not want to say that Geet is actually, physically present there. It is just her memory. She lost her memory at the spot outside where she was found and now she wakes up there (in ehr mind) and recalls her past and also what she found out on the actualy night of the prom. Maan's words are beign played in her mind and she becomes aware of the present situation: Maan is in danger.
Her struggle against the closed door was supposed to be the struggle against sharmila. I guess I did not show that clearly. But geet is not present PHYSICALLY outside the castle, just mentally.

I hope things are clear now, otherwise I will try to explain again, yosh.
