Prologue

He sits on the chair with his one leg on the other and leans back comfortably. He looks at all the people of the house who were gawking at him with their mouths open!!

The Handa family was still under the shock that the great Maan Singh Khurana, the biggest business tycoon of the world is sitting under their roof!!!

They had just seen his pictures on the magazine covers or on tv, but they never dreamed even in their wildest dreams that some day they will see him face to face!!!

But they don't know that some things look beautiful just from a distance!!! Some things are better if they don't cross your life!!! The tiger is a very beautiful animal, if you see it in pictures; but it can rip you to pieces if came face to face!!!

There was a strange aura of power and authority around him that they knew was a by-product of his success.

Maan turned his face towards his side and the Handa family's eyes followed his eyes towards his back for the first time and saw a guy standing behind him and literally shivering out of fear.

"Adi!" one word from his mouth and it sent chills to everybody's spine. Nobody was able to put a finger on the reason for this fear that went through them, but now they knows why everybody fears Maan Singh Khurana. His very presence was intimidating!!!

Adi was shivering very badly as if he had a bad case of cold as Maan's attention was targeted on him now.

Adi puts a check book in front of Maan hoping in his deepest heart that his boss doesn't get angry at some thing because he knew that nothing is worse in the world than Maan's anger...not even death!!!

Adi isn't really aware for his boss's reason for this visit, but he has an intuition that it's bad!!! In fact, everything associated with his boss is bad!!! That person would be the most unlucky person in the world who would be foolish enough of coming into the bad books of Maan Singh Khurana!! In fact, that person would be the most unlucky one who will come in Maan's good books or bad books!!!

Even Maan Singh Khurana's friendship is no less than his enmity!!! Any person who comes under Maan's eyes, becomes unlucky by default!!! As they say that 'Kuch logo ki na dosti achchi aur na hi dushmani!'

Adi knows how bad it is to cross his boss's way!! He pitied the Handa family because he knows that if Maan Singh Khurana has himself come to their house, it gotta be something worse!!!!

Maan looks at the Handa family and throws a blank cheque towards them on the table.

The Handas looks at each other's face and then at the cheque confusedly. They are still clueless that what does Maan want after all!!

They couldn't understand what does they have that he wants?? Why is he giving them a blank cheque??

They knows that Maan Singh Khurana is so big and so busy that nobody even gets a chance to see his face!! So what does he wants from them that he has himself came to their house??!!!

They were intimidated by his persona to ask him any question but they were all very confused!!!

At last Brij picked up courage and asked him "What is this cheque for???"

Just then the house filled with melodious laughter and everybody's attention moved towards Geet who has just entered the house from the kitchen back door.

She was talking on the phone with her best friend Pinky...

An evil smirk came on Maan's lips as he got a glance of Geet from the living room door and he saw Geet going towards her room.

The Handas were still looking back towards Geet's direction when they heard him say "I want Geet!!"

Everybody looked towards him confusedly and couldn't understand the meaning of his words...

He smirked evilly and said "Just for one night!!"

Shock washed through everybody at his last words...
