The PH and their Budget issues (IMPORTANT)

This is not the first time I am seeing posts such as why doesn't ASR use an iphone? Why doesn't the PH give him an iphone?

Well the answer is pretty simple - Budget constraints.

As many of you know (many of you may not know) Barun is not a gizmo freak. He is total bhulakkar when it comes down to cell phones. He keeps losing them so he prefers not to buy expensive ones. And I suppose he uses his own phone in the show.

In serials, actors possibly use their own phones and the PH doesn't provide it. ASR is filthy rich in the show and the PH try their best to make him look like one. Barun who is blessed with inherent style and sophistication adds to the flavor. They did show him coming down from a chopper in the first epi to give us the impression of his stature.

The costumes are provided by the PH though and I agree that they should give ASR some more shoes. I am pretty much satisfied with his suits and casuals.

Many people question why Khushi repeats her clothes so often. The answer is simple, she belongs to a lower middle class family and she probably does not own so many different outfits. Yes her outfits are chamkeela but they are not expensive if you look carefully.

She has been working for some time and her salary is Rs. 30000. But how long has she been working? Not more than two- three months. If she gets that much money what should she do with it? Run her family, pay the bills or shop for clothes?

You cannot compare her with Anjali. You cannot wonder why Khushi has 10 outfits if Anjali has 40 sarees.

IPKKND is television show and just like all most all other shows it has limited budget. You have to understand the production houses cannot spend 150 crores (like Ra.One) for their TV shows. They simply do not have that much resource.

You cannot compare IPKKND with BALH because it's run by Four Lions. Four Lions is a new production and Balaji has ruled the TV industry for years. Balaji definitely has more money. So let's not compare it with Balaji. Let's try to be satisfied with whatever we are getting because I assume the PH is trying their best.

We are sucker for details sometimes it's best if we overlook certain things and simply enjoy the show.

4 Lions is a new PH and does not have as much ,money as Balaji so there are certain things we have to ignore.

But to make everything autentic, they should have taken some Delhi street shots of Connaught place or chandni chowk and show those in between scenes .

Yes they could have have done that. In the beginning they took some shots of Lucknow and it looked like they were really in Lucknow.

If they focus on such things the show will definitely have a better look.

I agree certain things are beyond the budget of the PH...I wouldn't want the storyline or the show suffering at the expense of these minute and not-so-important details...

Yes if they focus on the storyline it's more than enough for me.
