Today, she is a mother of two children but still she is acting in films. This time, she is acting in the second Telugu film of her career in Hyderabad. She wants to act in movies not for the sake of any other purpose but she wants to act due to her deep involvement in artistic pursuits. Her writings are appearing in seven publications and magazines. She is penning a volume on relationships for Penguin. She is sentimentally involved in girl child projects which fight against female foeticide.
According to statistics provided by her, there are 904 women per 1000 men. This reduced number of women-men ratio in the society may, if not will, complicate situations in future and create tensions in the social equilibrium. This will aggravate crime graph. A time will come when a man may not get married due to non-availability of women and the existing women will become victims of abuse. So, Pooja Bedi urges women to underscore this valid point and say no to female feoticide. She is running her own foundation, 'The Grass Roots' and inspite of all these busy pre-occupations, she finds time to spend with her children as a responsible and affectionate mother.
I read it from one of the news articles of Pooja Bedi and then posted it on my blog - she is doing a great work for humanity and for our society.
Regards,
