The thought of someone even replacing Anushka kills something inside of me. I liked her earlier, but wasn't a full-blown fan yet until Arundhati happened. I absolutely loved Anushka in it, and the movie had me on the edge of my seat.

However, if a remake has to happen, then can't do anything about it.

I like Katrina, but I just don't see her doing such a role. It's hard to imagine.

Kareena, maybe ... But either way, Katrina and Kareena are packed at the moment, And seriously, they aren't the only actresses in BW.

I think PC can do justice to the role, but I feel something may be missing. Same feeling towards Vidya, Konkona, and Rani.

Surprisingly, I saw someone just mention it... but I'm leaning towards Anushka Sharma doing such a role 😕

Personal taste is NOT pathetic, neither mine nor yours, destroying a story's validity on the basis of pop culture currency (i.e. casting Justin Bieber as Othello 'cause he's "hot") is ridiculous.

I can't fathom either of them in this role. I loved, absolutely LOVED, the original in Telugu and Anushka was amazing. I don't see any of the Bollywood actresses pulling this role off, maybe cause I haven't seen any in very heroine oriented films. Yes, Priyanka in Fashion, but the entire theme and feel of that movie would be completely different from the old fashioned, kinda rustic feel of Arundathi.

Just my two cents :)
