A Glimpse of Heaven in Your eyes

Prelude ...

Having grown in a very close family, it was only me, my parents, my di and my close friends, in my world, no one else ...until i met you!

Call it either destiny, that has made us meet or maybe it was us who made this happened...it was so sudden yet every moment seemed an eternity, it felt confusing, at the same time like bliss...

I never knew when it happened or how it happened, but it did and here today in my world with you, i'm feeling at the top of the world...

This is me, Riddhima and my life...my love!

Flashback...

Crash Into You...

Everything went still...Like someone had stop the flow of wind; everyone around seemed fading away, leaving only him and me staring at each other...with me in his arms, where i don't know but feeling like i always meant to be there and his eyes...those blue eyes, so mesmerising making me lost in them, drowning and at the same time, confused with all these emotions flickering in them which i was not able to decipher...

"Riddhima..." came a voice from nowhere...no wait, it's from behind me ...Muski!!! Oh no i forgot her...

"Sorry..." I whispered to the angel in front of me, my angel...Wait.. "My Angel????"...but he's sure quite good looking and saved me from falling so he's quite nice, angel..just a slip of the tongue..hehe!! ...thought Riddhima freeing herself from her saviour's arm!!

"Riddhima,let's go, we're getting late"...Muski calling from the entrance of Sanjeevani...Oh again forgot her..."Sorry Muski, coming..."...turning around to thank...where's he??Turning again, Riddhima saw him with that stupid grin on his face, talking to that mini skirt girl, standing against a grey car, which seemed to be his...not a bad choice, a Bugatti veyron ...but this aside...he didn't let me thank him...well you should have thank him instead of thinking i don't know what... a voice came into her mind!

Uff let it be now, he's not interested in my thank you, instead in that girl...

Murmuring this, Riddhima and walked till the entrance where Muskaan was...

"Let's go, Muski..."..."where were u lost??...apparently Muski didn't see me with that stranger...again him!!!

"So what was i saying, without listening to what i had to say,..."yeah it was so great nah the other day with Anjie di,...Riddhima, are you listening...??" "yeah what? Yeah, yeah Muski..."..." It was so great nah, we enjoyed so much!" " Yeah it was one of the greatest day, we've had a blast..." Riddhima forgetting what just happened in the car park ...for now!!

Everything In Its Right Place

Today is a very special day in these 6 people's lives who are going to join Sanjeevani for their internship...

Everyone's life is going to change...change for good?? Maybe...but who knows what destiny has planned for those people!

They say a doctor is the saviour, giver and even God to some...it's a really difficult place to be in, to shoulder all the responsibilities that came with it is scary, will i be able to handle all these???

I know there are others like me right now...who's going to be interns in Sanjeevani and they must be feeling this fear also...

Dad ,mom Nani, always tells me to have faith in myself and my capabilities ..but i can't help it...i think it comes automatically when a person, especially a girl has to enter a new phase of her life...hmm ...as Anjie di says 'Let's face what comes and win the battle'... and yesterday when she told me the same thing how Atul jij said 'No... not that again' and got a good lecture on that...poor jij.. but they both love each other a lot...like mom-dad...though theirs has a lot more of understanding and stability with the experience and the long way through life, they've lived so far...

Thanking all these Riddhima's eyes fell on the clock on her bed's side..omg 6:00 PM , i've to get ready...she said panic-stricken...warna mein pakka mar jaougi...rushing to the bathroom with the clothes she'd already decided to wear for her first day since last night, she began to prepare herself for the day...

After 1 hour...

'Good morning Nani', Riddhima wished Nani with a sweet kiss as she has been doing since she was a kid and missed it so much in these 5 years she'd been away for her medical studies. 'Good morning beta'.. Nani replied enthusiastically her grand-daughter as she also missed her a lot during these 5 years!

Riddhima had gone to University Of Liverpool, where her Dad and her di also went for their studies...it was like a tradition.. speaking of, Riddhima giggled at that thought...Her mom and Nani who were so much believers of family's traditions were shockingly against this one...They were not with the idea of Riddhima going to UK for her studies and argued at that time that there were universities among the best in India..well it's not that but the 'tradition' had to be followed...

How Anjie, Riddhima, who was reluctance to go away at first and shocking Shashank threw tantrums at Padma and Nani at that time, now Riddhima and Nani giggled thinking of that...

How she missed her princess...but she knew it was for her good and today, she was going, for the fiorst time, in the hospital not as Dr Shashank Gupta's daughter, Riddhima but Dr Riddhima Gupta...

'Kissi ki nazar na lagey meri bachi ko.'

'Oh ho, Nani, apki aur mere rehte Ridzi par kissi ki nazar par sakti hai...ya phir parey bhi , to yeh apne darawni glare se bhaga degi...both laughing at Muski's joke whereby Riddhima's glaring at them...not for long as they were her sweethearts...

'Good morning beta', 'Good morning Nani...'Muski also came kissing Nani as always...'Good morning Ridzi , Good morning Muski Hugging each other, Riddhima forgetting about Muski's joke as she was so used and well she loved her. Muski was her cousin/best friend/ roommate/ class mate (since kindergarten i think)...they were inseparable...Anjie was also in their group..like the threesome!!! Even this weekend was superb, after such a long time...

'So kaisi hai tayar ho gayi??' Muski interrupted the trail of thoughts of Riddhima...'Yeh to subah ke 6 baje se tayar ho gayi...'.said Padma coming in the kitchen with Shashank.

'Kyun Riddhima beti, itni jaldi se tayar ho gayi thi?, aaj to tumhe 8 baje jana hai nah?'

Ha par papa..

Ha Ridzi 6 baje se!!...bus chootne wali nahi hai u know...tumhare paas car hain...said Muskaan making an innocent face...

aur bar bar niche se upar , aur clock se nazar to hath nahi rahi...aur shayad 10 bar mujhse puch chuki ki clock thik to hai nah!! Padma added to that!

Everyone was stiffing their laughter and Riddhima didn't miss that!

Nani aap bhi...nahi mere bache...Shashank, padma, muskaan , kyun sata rahe mere Riddhima ko??

Kaun meri pyari si behna ko sata rahe hai?? Anjie said coming with Atul...Di...they both engulfed each other in a tight hug...n me...asked sadly Muski...oyye nautanki , come here...said Riddhima!

Everyone there kept admiring the beautiful bond they had...Good morning Atul..Good morning he said, seeking ashirwaad from Padma, Shashank and Nani...hi Ridzi n Muski...so all set for today..all burst in a laugh...kya hua...Anjie n Atul asked...kuch nahi n they told them about Riddhima...they also tried to stiff their laughter but couldn't!

Riddhima wasn't minding all that at all...she was standing there watching all her loved ones...she was feeling so lucky to have such an awesome family and friend and all together after so long...

After breakfast...

Everyone was here today as it was the first day of Riddhima and Muskaan... though Muskaan is Padma's brother daughter; she was always more attached to the Guptas as they lived nearby as in neighbours!!

Ok dad, mom, nani hum chalte hai...hospital mein bahut kam hai...naye interns jo aane wale hai...Anjie said...Atul and Anjali were the new senior doctors alongside with Dr Kirti and Dr Shubhankar...

Bye beta, apna khayal rakhna, said Padma..tum bhi Atul..ok mom!

Ok Ridzy , Muski hum chalte hain ...8 baje milege! Bye...

C ya di...both replied...

Chalo mein bhi chalta hoon, mujhe meeting attend karni hai!! Bye Riddhima and Muskaan ...meet u alter in the hospital and all the very best to both of you beta!!

Bye Padma... Bye Ma', saying that Anjie, Atul and Dr Shashank left...

After taking all that she'll need, Riddhima said bye to her mom n Nani and sought their blessings with Muskaan as they're going to take a new step in their life...along with nervousness, there's happiness and their family's pride!!

Reaching the car park of Sanjeevani...

Muskaan and Riddhima still in conversation through the whole way to the hospital about their mini holiday just 2 days ago in Goa...they've enjoyed a lot with Anjie and Atul!

They've got out of the car and Muski went ahead, talking while Riddhima car key was stuck in the door lock...

'Excuse me, may i help u?'...came a voice from behind Riddhima!

Riddhima turned, startled and collide with that person behind her...she lost her balance, closed her eyes in the fear of landing on the ground...but she felt herself still...with two arms securing her...opening her eyes, she found herself looking in those mesmerising blue eyes...

Everything In Its Right Place till...now as something seems to have change in that one moment...

Well the prelude is very much interesting.
I'm missing DMG sooo much...
I really like the concept.

AR's first meeting was just like the typical AR style..
Ridz called Armaan her angel.That was sooo cute.
Looking forward to the next updated eagerly.
You need not be nervous yaar.
