How will you be celebrating Diwali?
After five years, I will be going home, to Delhi, to celebrate Diwali. In these last five years, I haven't been able to go home due to some professional commitment or the other. I am very enthusiastic about going home and have been planning for a month about this trip.
What is your favourite part of Diwali?
I probably have forgotten the small rituals of Diwali, so I am looking forward to all those customs. I will enjoy them more perhaps as I hardly did any in last five years. Nisha and I will relish every moment this Diwali with our family.
What do you look forward to doing most on Diwali?
I don't burst crackers anymore and I don't eat sweets either as I am an actor, and we have to maintain ourselves. I am looking forward to meeting family, being with friends, catching up with relatives and having fun.
Share some tips on reducing air pollution?
Don't burst crackers, atleast not the ones that make too much noise or cause too much smoke. Also be aware of the time as many aged people, children and even animals get scared with the constant noise.
What tips would you share about safe Diwali?
Be careful and don't be rash while bursting crackers.
Which mythology story is connected with Diwali? Why do we celebrate Diwali?
Diwali is the festival of lights not crackers because Lord Ram returned home and every corner was lit up to welcome him. We should light up our homes similarly.
