I think Rathod is gaga over babies. Just because somebody's mama is walking with a baby near an anathashram, he can't assume that the baby is being abandoned. I feel he should have made efforts to locate both his own daughter and this baby's parents.
Now that he has done neither, this is what I think will happen. He seems to need the urge to have a child way too much...almost an obsession.
1. Remember that he slept with Taps, left her, but returned to her ONLY when he found she was carrying his baby.
2. He agreed that she is 'acceptable' without the baby on that stormy night, but am sure he was assuming she has kept the baby safe (proof: he was little mad at her when he was later driving to the orphanage saying "what was she thinking leaving my baby here?") 3. He still went back home without locating the baby and accepted Taps ONLY because she was a baby making machine. I don't need to give any proof here.
4. When she confessed that she can't have babies, he said that they will do everything to get a baby.
So logical deduction: he has something about babies, something way more than his love to Taps.
But now his adopted baby is going to be fed by Iccha ! And the bond will develop betw Iccha and this baby (unless Iccha somehow gets some smart brainwave and REFUSES to become a daima).
So:
1. Taps and Nani will automatically dislike the baby cos it is close to Iccha.
2. Rathod will choose the baby over Taps when he sees that the baby is being neglected, and thus close the triangle.
3. Taps is out again and the new jodi will be Iccha and Yuvraj with Rathod.
Where will Taps go? Maybe this time, Veer will take her back and being the legal father of Mukta (unless Rathod contests it), Taps and her biological daughter - Mukta will be with Veer. Seeing the pace of this show, I assume 2011 and 2012 will go by with these tracks.
Then they will reshuffle again. Hopefully by 2013, the jodis will all be corrected, and this horrific show will end. Everyone hope that they don't bring some new idiot in and continue to reshuffle.
