How will you be celebrating Diwali?
This year I have got four days off so I will be flying to Dubai to celebrate Diwali with my family there. My uncle lives there so it will be a grand family union.
What is your favourite part of Diwali?
Spending time with family and friends, as this festival is a great opportunity to meet people after a long time. Interacting and catching up with cousins or neighbours is fun.
What do you look forward to doing most on Diwali?
I burst bit of crackers but I look forward to gorging on sweets. I love decorating the house as well. But as for cards I am not much of a player.
Share some tips on reducing air pollution?
The best way to reduce air and noise pollution is to burst fewer crackers.
What tips would you share about safe Diwali?
Be very careful when you burst crackers and children especially should always light them with an adult present. I remember once a kid in my neighbourhood was bursting rockets non-stop and one of them entered our house and got caught in the drapes. It caught fire but thankfully we were there to put the fire out.
Which mythology story is connected with Diwali? Why do we celebrate Diwali?
After killing Ravan and completing their 14-year vanvaas, Lord Ram and Sitaji returned to Ayodhya. The whole city was lit up for them and hence we celebrate Diwali as a celebration.
