I think Khushi will agree to marry the snake for a variety of reasons...her father's health, family preassure, La and Arnav, the disparity in the social status between her and Arnav, and most importantly because she will not realise that Arnav loves her!

Why should Khushi say yes to Shyam to get out of the way for LA- does not make sense when these days girls can be strong enough to say no for a variety of reasons and still have a meaningful life- she can get out of the way by moving out of her present job of training LA and not meet Arnav and still refuse to marry Shyam . Does she have to be portrayed as the self- sacrificing age old idea of an Indian woman- she is a present day girl who knows how to be empowered. It does not seem logical if the CVs follow this route- with her agreeing to marry Shyam as though there are no other options in life for girls in India but to marry under coercion. She is not a rural illiterate who has no knowledge about the world or her rights.She is a city girl with parents who are understanding. What message would the CVs present if they showed her spineless.

Khushi still have all these family pro and she still has no idea about arnav's feeling. But she put her foot down and say no to snake even though the snake was extra sweet to her.. But when she realize she is coming between her friend and her BF that will tear her apart. she started realizing that Arnav eyes are trying to tell her something,his touch is telling her something( when she was going to buy medicine she mentioned these r all arnavji's fault) .So she knows she needs to get away fm there. Marrying someone else and move out fm their life will be a perfect option.

I fully agree with u. Our Khushi Kumari Gupta is a girl with scruples. Right now she thinks that only she has this disease. If she realises that Arnav is attracted to her, she will run like mad n get engaged to Shyam. She will never hurt the Raizadas knowingly for her own gain.
