Although krishna is not like ss/kn but the cheap mentality about women is common between these thakur males the way he told that prats would go to another guy was disgusting only ss/kn type guys can say this .Even if he changed a bit his thinking is still the same that women are for pleasure .SS u didnt mind betraying ur evil wife but when the same thing happened to u have taken a rifle in ur hand such a pathetic guy.If krishna didnt shut prats i bet kn would have done it cos i was clearly seeing the same fire in his eyes which his bro and dad had.The thakurs dont mind doing bigamy, sleeping with kothewalis, insulting wives, kidnapping girls, stalking girls, lusting girls but according to them a girl cant even break a marriage really their mindset is out of the world

what i find seriously disturbing is the number of fangirls on this forum who can't see beyond 'lowe lowe lowe'. Krishna as a character has SERIOUS flaws. Today's episode proves it. I rarely watch this show, because i feel the protagonist; Pratigya, has lost her charm and her voice. She is fickle now. Like any other ekta serial bahu. What we saw today was Krishna's guilty conscience eating away at him. Regardless of how much in 'love' Krishna and Pratigya are in now, the truth is, that the marriage is a farce because it was forced upon Pratigya. Krishna became infatuated with P at first sight. (Yes, infatuated. How can you fall in love with someone, you know nothing about?) He obsessed over her, and bullied her and her family into a one sided marriage. In reality we all know how a story like this would end. (Read: behind the prison bars.) Since this is fiction, chalo maan lete hai. Today's episode depicts Krishna's narrow mindedness, and shows how ruthless and volatile the character can be. He is sexist, mannerless, unintelligent and unforgiving. No less than a barbarian in some ways. Unless the creatives bring in some major changes to Krishna's character, Pratigya will have to live her life under the thakur's terms, and adjust to their likes and dislikes. I wonder how any future offspring of theirs will turn out? How can a man like Krishna, who believes guncrime and bloodshed is the only solution, a man, who has no aims and goals in his life, no job, become a good father to any child? Pratigya cannot give the child a healthy upbringing alone, especially not in an environment like the haveli. (Read: Kesar and Shakti's son, who witnessed his father bring a prostitute into their bedroom). Despicable. I found Krishna's thoughts on Ganga and Gunga having to be punished appalling. I hope the creatives of this show, turn the situation around and are concious of the decisions they make in regards to the story plot. There is more to this show than Kriya. And it could be a very effective way of getting social messages across, but it's not working right now. There are a lot of teen boppers around who can't see anything beyond the acronym 'Kriya' and the TRP's of this show (which has absolutely nothing to do with them). Forget everything else, the least he can do is do right by his wife and his family. That's not too much to ask for, right?

Good post drift... agree with some of your points... however I would like to say my views about K...

IMO.. it would be wrong to club K with the rest of the Thakurs... K is nothing like them... unlike his father and brother he strictly keeps himself away from all kinds of vices... drinking gambling kothewalis...

Although he forced P into marriage (which is not strictly true either .. P could have stood firm and refused... in the real world no one marries their stalker) ... Everyone will agree that K loves P more than anything in this world and will do anything for her... now he tells his father to shoot G... but when he found out about P being kidnapped by Angad... he couldn't make himself pull the trigger on her...

K has never looked at another woman since he married P.. and expects the same from everyone else... including his father... Till now K never doubted P... he never had any such thoughts in his head till Nilima put them there... even then he never said anything to P... but when P started taking G's side and said that a woman need not stay in a marriage if she is unhappy... that was when K's dam burst open...

However, I do agree with u that K's thinking needs a lot of upgrading... he is indeed sexist and has diff standards for men and women... if G deserves to be shot for betraying SS... then why not SS also be shot for betraying Amma...
Also, its true that he has no job, no education, no goals in life... and it would be difficult for P to have a child in such a household...
Also, he is easily influenced by others peoples words...

Me too was shocked to hear K saying to P that if she were unhappy with him would she also go along with another man...but he didn't say that to insult P , he was drawing comparison to what G did...but has to agree that he has cheap mentality about woman but he gives some freedom to P , which is a big thing considering his upbringing n general mentality...most of the time me too have felt that he makes love to P more for his pleasure than considering her feelings as we have seen earlier...but he just doesn't see woman as means of pleasure...he is a one woman man n he demands what he thinks is his every time he feels like it...

P has been way too understanding n caring n lovely to K...its time for her to stop brushing aside his actions n words just bec he has a good heart (which only works when things go in his favor ) n take him to task ...what he did yesterday ie bantering their private matter in front of family , was an insult to their relationship n the taunt about education showed his huge ego...n he has to shed his 'i am the king' image n start shouldering responsibility ...he is so immature ATM about what it takes to be responsible...he doesn't care who lives or dies unless it affects him personally , he is selfish...

here he has had a brilliant opportunity to save his father from further embarrassment...so he grabs at it ...he was so angry with SS for falling for the charms of a kid-girl n he wanted to kill G off himself , thanks to P , he couldn't do it...now suddenly he saw that his father was fooled (he don't now the finer details ) n the girl is going to run away with the family's honor as well as his father's manhood...n suddenly he is seeing that he could get back the father he loved by terminating G n Gunga thus saving family honor too ...two birds with one stone...as he said 'na rahega baas , na rahegi basuri'...if G-Gu is allowed to live , they will live as the evidence of SS's wounded manhood n heir family destroyed honor ie he couldn't tolerate people saying that his old father married a kid as a sec wife...now if her hear that thakurain ran off with the servant of the house it would sound more disgusting n horrific for his ears...but if the world never comes to know of it by killing off them or if the world comes to know that they were caught n dealt with , that would seem better...i think K is thinking along these lines...

100% agreed to u. Krishna proved yesterday that even he is a THAKUR. the way he told P that she will also fing someone OTHER was pathetic when a hubby like Krishna says it.
