Dhanush's signs a film with Aascar?

Dhanush has become a busy bee with various projects in his hands. Apart from '3' directed by wife Aishwarya in which he is currently acting, the National Award winning star will play the protagonist in a film titled 'Mareesan', directed by Chimbudevan.

Besides, he has signed a film for Aascar Films Pvt Ltd. Confirming this, producer V Ravichandran says, "Yes, Dhanush has agreed to do a movie with us. The name of the director and other details will be revealed after Diwali. The project will start soon."

Although there were reports earlier that 'Mareesan' for which he is teaming up with UTV, is changing hands to Aascar, these are now rubbished as rumours as his project with Aascar will be a different one.

Post Diwali, the actor's 'Mayakkam Enna' directed by his elder brother Selvaraghavan will make it to theatres. "The final copy is ready with us and both Dhanush and Selva are happy with the output", say inside sources. This will be their fourth film together, after Thulluvadho Ilamai, Kadhal Konden and Pudupettai.

Thanks for the article, Usha. I wish Ascar films before going ahead with their next project, release their film 'Leelai' which was completed 2 yrs back. I've been waiting like ages to see my fav. tele actor Manasi Parekh on big screen in a Tamil film. Hope the production house, atleast after the success of Velayudham releases 'Leelai'.
