OH GOSH! 😲 No way .. finally.. thankyou .. to whoever is in charge of the Background Music ..

for making the return of our Original Mahi Tune .. the one that started right at the beginning of today's Maaneet scene .. me and Shivu (mysterygurl1427) LOVE LOVE, absolutely LOVE this BG tune to death. Like no kidding. Whenever it comes on our breathing constricts, heart stops, and we go into Maaneet LaLaLand for the rest of the day 😆

Today's Maaneet scene: Idk about you guys but I saw the return of our Original Maaneet! Yes.. this is how our Maaneet were and are .. and all this credit goes to director Sundeep and dialogue writer Barry since because of them we get marverlous direction and wonderfully amazing dialogues.

Maan and Geet are the epitome of love. Their relationship as a husband and wife is one that I haven't witnessed on Indian Telly before. They have so much love, care, and trust for one another 😳 They believe in each other immensely. They understand each other so well. They are able to read each other's eyes and know exactly what the other is thinking .. omg I was absolutely gone today 😍 Hayeee these two are so so so perfecttt!! 😳

Geet's emotions .. only and ONLY come out in front of Maan. She is always strong and confident when dealing with outsiders.. but when there's something that gets to her emotionally, she only shows her tears to Maan and no one else because she knows Maan is the only one able to understand her completely.

Maan. He trusts Geet SO much. Their relationship has evolved so much .. there is absolutely no room for ego anymore. They are always thinking about the other's POV. Maan would've been angry had this been last year. He would've wanted Geet to tell him and would've probably taken care of the situation himself. But now, they have learned so much from each other and Maan is allowing Geet the Sherni to tackle the UL because he has faith that she'll win.

I LOVED the dialogue of Maan's when he says that Geet's eyes, her locks (was that a spl mention of her curls 😆😳), and her breath .. tells him everything. They speak to him more than her words do. And we witnessed him telling her this before his ML .. and last year in the golden days as well. Gosh I was reeling with the effect of that scene. It was brilliant!!!

And then the HUG!!! OMG!! First of all.. they completed their hug quota today! 😃😆 But this hug was so different.. it totally reminded me of the hug Geet gave Maan after Khoon Bhari Maang 😍 .. it was so tight .. no space for air .. it had so much love and affection .. it was totally awww and sigh inducing .. 😳

I love Maaneet 😳

Sorry for the rambling .. I didn't even have time to analyze today but after watching that Maaneet scene .. I just HAD to come and share my thoughts with you all! 😛

Lovely post & it was not ranting...ur words also came from hear...l also noticed d special mention of her jhulfe...infact l think today her curls were little bit straightened so that he could run his slender finger over her hair☺️

Agree with u completely..didn't realise the background music as i was totally into maaneet but will check it in repeat..hug was awesome so was the understanding they share..i cried after a long time watching the epi..

i totally agree...

when the BG score has started i was actually transported back to the golden days...the BG had been associated with so many intense maaneet moments that it made me nostalgic...and while watching the episode all i could think of was that this show can't end...even though the onging track is total crap and shit...yet MAANEET can always keep me going...i can't bear the thought of never watching maaneet onscreen...

the relationship they share is pure and intense...no one can match their love,strength, care. passion, trust and understanding!!! i repeat NO ONE!!

they way they place their trust and faith in eachother...always keeping other person before themselves...its divine!!!

Just my POV

Now it makes me feel that MSK's memory is back because MSK and Geet went through a lot together that is the reason why they understand each other so well. Whereas MSK with ML knows geet, he loves her too but how can he have such a deep understaing about geet? I know he saw geet handeling NT and Circus' weddings etc but this maan has no clue where Geet is coming from and what she has faced in her life.

Aww I loved your post! It summed up the best parts of the episode.

But I couldn't help but wish Maan had his memory back for a scene like today. It would have been so much more effective if he had developed this attitude after struggling with the idea of Geet working at least once. These issues were addressed in the IP track and the BR track and both were cut short before they could culminate in a Maan like we saw today. It would have been great character development if his character hadn't had a violent break like ML, which I wish they had cured by now because they seemed to have moved on and I would have liked to see that wrap up before they did.

Nevertheless, I think it was a beautiful portrayal of a marriage where the partners support each other unconditionally and give each other space to grow. Not only that, Maan says Geet should see herself in his eyes and he wants to see Maan in hers. It reflected so beautifully the role reversal they are currently undertaking with so much dignity on both sides.

Maan has become an unconditional support for Geet while he gives her strength to face her fears and conquer them. It really rings true to their characters from the beginning in that way.
