Vivek had to opt out of 'Rang De Basanti'

Hrithik Roshan refused to play in 'Rang De Basanti' because the role, he was offered had not satisfied him. Even Aamir personally approached Hrithik for that, but Hrithik was adamant. Now it's being heard Vivek Oberoi has been approached for playing rebellious Karan's role in the film. Everything had been finalized and at the last moment Vivek had to opt out as his dates then clashed with his other film. After 'Rang De Basanti' hit the box office, Vivek may now bite his tongue for not playing the role; and Siddharth, who played the role, may feel himself lucky. Right.
