Word around town is that Vidya Balan's big CEO macho-man, is a bit uncomfortable with his lady love making out in the film. Why? Is he scared of getting Mono? This, coming from a guy who's getting ready to be married for the 3rd time? He's supposedly asked Vidya to ask the film makers to tone down the PDA. A "source" told a tab:
"Naturally, Siddharth wasn't too pleased about her kissing scenes and asked her why she agreed to shoot them. Though it's also a fact that he doesn't interfere in Vidya's career, and let's her take her own decisions. Siddharth also tried asking Vidya if there was a way she could get the scenes in question toned down."
Uh yeah, that sounds like utter bullsh*t! Why would he ask Vidya, to ask her hairstylist, to ask the cameraman, to ask the asst. director, to ask the producer to tone down scenes? If he was in fact uncomfortable with the scenes, he's big enough in the biz to bypass Vidya and go straight to Dragon Lady, herself!
It's a classic case in "How to spot a Bollywood lie: 101"..! First make a "shocking statement," in this case: "Siddharth wasn't too pleased about her kissing scenes and asked her why she agreed to shoot them." Next, make another statement contradicting the first one:"it's also a fact that he doesn't interfere in Vidya's career, and let's her take her own decisions." Finally, end the deception by rewording your first statement and apply it to current events: "Siddharth also tried asking Vidya if there was a way she could get the scenes in question toned down."
Come on, Ekta! Thought y'all had better PR than this...? ;-/
