Hi i hv been following this serial since the begining but i have never posted here before...

I have a doubt and i wud be grateful if anyone can help me...
Why is pag phere celebrated??
I am a tamil so i am not familiar with northern indian Rasam's and rivaz...

Oh and i also dont know if i posted at the correct place or if i shud have used the helpdesk...pls correct me if ia m wrong:)

pag phera is a ritual just after the wedding...

where the girl returns to her parental home on the third day of her wedding...

she stays for a day or teo and then comes back

frankly there's no symbolic need...

but its believed in general that the girl gets a chance to meet her family once again after the wdding...

plus wen the groom comes to pick her up...he too gets to interact with his wife's family
