She is forcing herself on the fam for perceived wrongs. You can't force anyone to love, respect, and accept you. Not done by demands. She is insecure because she knows she is wrong deep down.

They broke the marriage when they were kids and Garuri happily complied then. She clearly told Anandi and everyone is hearing distance she didn't agree to it and didn't want it. I distinctly remembering saying she'd rather study than be a wife... she had to be dragged to the mandap by her mom and she was crying a storm. Her mom was a selfish witch who disregarded her daughter's feelings and knowingly that Jag was married, forced her to go through with the rituals. Then why is Gauri feeling wronged now? Her parents left her like an abandoned dog at their gates, so why is she not angry with them?

At the end, Anand's in-laws corrected a wrong at the panchayat. They went about it legally. Gauri has no reason to hate on them now. She made her flea ridden bed, let her sleep in it in sin with her characterless behavior and another woman's hubbie. At the end, she's just a pregnant mistress of a wealthy guy. She deserves what she gets.
