why is buaji so infatuated with Shyam?

I just cannot understand what does Buaji see in Shyam?! Why is she so infatuated by him? It is really becoming difficult to watch. She does not care about her brother or what do her nieces want. Only that Shyam is a godsend to them and she wants him to get married to Khushi?

Why the urgency?!

Even the last scene, I doubt she heard anything and if she did, she will allow Shyam to talk her into believeing something else that is impossible!!!

I agree with you buaji's got a really big thing for shaym and its really annoying in every single one of her sentences its shyam babua this and shaym babua that .. but then you have to remember shaym's a manipulative character, and somehow seems to worm his way into peoples hearts with all his fake sweet talk and schmoozing... and his got buaji wrapped around his finger... once shaym's truth comes out i bet you buaji will be the first one to give shyam two straight slaps

Buaji has a crush on him but he's too young for him . So she is trying to live vicariously through Khushi 😆

exactly it makes no sense. and she's always like shyam has does sooo much for us.. three akeli ladies living in this city and he is always there for us. what has he done for them really?? he's saved khushi in lucknow.. and bas.. Delhi main he has been of no help to them as far as I've seen.

also it's not like she knows him.. she doesnt know about his family and all well at all, and plus isnt it important to talk to guy's family too before getting ready to get your niece married off into the family? she doesn't know anything about him tbh.. she just thinks he is awesome cause he's from Lucknow.. is that seriously her only criteria for a guy for Khushi?

also it's annoying how she keeps saying no worries for payal we will get tons of guys.. but this is the only guy for khushi.. seriously now? what makes you so sure about that?? -_- has she seen khushi interact with any other guy to decide that shyam is the only one??
