Ram (Ram Kapoor) and Priya (Sakshi Tanwar) will soon fly off to Australia for their honeymoon in Sony's Bade Acche Lagte Hain. However, the show is all set to take a dramatic turn as the makers have decided to bring in a new character. The new character will be portrayed by Tarana Raja's mother, Madhu Raja. Tarana is already a part of the show and she is enacting the role of Ram's friend, Neha.
A khabroo from the sets informed that Madhu Raja will essay the character of Ram Kapoor's real mother who will meet him in Australia during the honeymoon trip. Madhu is a known face in Delhi where she was actively involved in theatre and production of shows like Phool Khile Gulshan Gulshan and others.
We spoke to Tarana Raja who confirmed her mom's entry and said. "My mom has been approached to play a pivotal role in the show. The creative team was searching for a tall and beautiful woman who doesn't look like typical television moms."
Tarana further narrated that her mom visited the sets only once when she was spotted by the makers who called her for a look test. Finally after the auditions she was finalised for the role. "However, she is yet to start shooting," said Tarana.
Madhu is yet to start shooting but people on the sets of Bade Acche' are already very fond of her. The reason being the yummy delicacies she cooks.
"My mom is a brilliant cook and she sends food for me on the sets. Apart from me, everyone from the production team just relish the food. Now everyone one is worried what they will do without my dabba (laughs)," informs Tarana.
Informing about the upcoming track the source said that during their honeymoon, Priya will come to know that Ram's real mother is alive and she is staying in Australia. Priya, being a dutiful wife, will re-unite Ram and his mother.
Well, we hope Madhu's acting talent is as good as her culinary skills!!!
