Chapter 1
The scene starts off when Arnav walks away from the Dhaba leaving Khushi behind with a sulken face.
He doesn't even know how will he get to Nainital but he thought it was better to walk alone in the jungle than to be around these mad people who mistook Khushi as his wife. Huh? his wife? Khushi? What the heck? His mind shifted back to the moment when he saw Khushi running towards him in a beautiful wedding attire outside the restroom. He remembered how lost he was in her angelic beauty. He came out of his thoughts and realized that it was getting dark.
Khushi, however, was trying her best to stop Arnav from leaving without eating anything. She was worried about his health and wanted Arnav to eat atleast a little so that he won't get sick or anything else. She was having a hard time, running through the rough way of the jungle behing Arnav with that heavy lehnga on her. She kept calling Arnav "Arnav Ji. Rukiye Arnav Ji. Kuch Kha lijiye. Aap bimaar pad jaayenge". Concern and worry was the only two emotions on her face. She sped up a little to catch up with Arnav and started calling him louder.
Arnav was walking fast but he heard a faint noise of Khushi calling him. "No.. Not again. This khushi wont let me breathe easily", said Arnav to himself with anger in his tone. He didn't want to stop so he started walking very fast, almost doing a walk-jog. Khushi called him out loud "ARNAV". This time she called him ARNAV ji, but ARNAV. She was tired of giving so much respect to a person who only thought about himself. Arnav was shocked to hear his name out of khushi's mouth but didn't stop. Suddenly he heard her voice "Aaahhh".
He stopped immediately and turned around to see Khushi fallen on the ground with a hand on her ankle. She looked as she was in a severe pain. He ran towards Khushi and put his bags on the ground. He hold her by her arms and asked her if she was ok. Khushi didn't say anything but kept holding her ankle. Arnav understood that she had sprained her ankle while running behind him. He felt guilty somewhere inside his heart. He bent forward to touch her ankle with his right hand. He touched the smooth and cold skin of khushi and looked up. His warm touch sent shivers down her spine and she looked into his eyes. She saw nothing but concern and guilt in his eyes. Tears started rolling down her face. Arnav noticed her tears and turned his face away from her, not being able to bear her crying.
He didn't say anything and lifted her up gently with a heavy bag on his shoulders. It was hard to walk with a girl in his arms but he felt happy inside his heart because somewhere in his heart, he knew that this moment was PERFECT. Khushi looked up at his face with a confused look in her eyes. Arnav told her to relax with the motion of his eyes and kept walking. Khushi couldn't believe that her Lard Governor was lifting her in his arms. She couldn't digest the fact that Arnav showed a soft side of himself to her. to Khushi? to the girl whom he hated the most and couldn't stand the sight of? She felt her heart beating faster and faster and closed her eyes to avoid the beautiful looks of Arnav's face. She hugged Arnav's neck carefully and went closer to his neck. Arnav could feel her warm breaths on his neck, under his left ear. He looked at the beautiful lady in his arms and smiled at the corner of his lips.
He walked about an hour, holding Khushi in his arms and enjoying their proximity. Khushi was half asleep and her lips were touching Arnav's neck here and there. It was getting very dark and Arnav decided to spend the night in the middle of the forest. He started to look for safe place and suddenly noticed an open area with a big tree in the middle. He walked upto the tree and put khushi down under the tree. Khushi felt uneasy and opened her eyes, only to look at Arnav's face, which was shining under the moonlight and was looking at her. She immediately looked down. She definitely did not want to look at Arnav and make her heartbeats go faster. She did not want Arnav to know the effects he had on her. She closed her eyes but didn't leave Arnav's neck. Arnav tried to take her hands off but she was so lost in her imagination of being around Arnav that she didn't pay attention at all. Arnav went near khushi's ear and called her name. "Khushi," he said softly, not to scare her. "hmmm" was the only answer Khushi could come up with at that time. Arnav smirked. He realized the impact of his proximity on Khushi and decided to take a sweet revenge on her after carrying her for an hour. He started to nibble on her right ear. Khushi shivered. He called her name again and Khushi realized where her arms were. She suddenly left Arnav's neck and looked down in embarassment.
"so you enjoy hugging me huh Khushi" said Arnav in a teasing tone. Khushi blushed. Even in the darkness, Arnav could see Khushi blushing at his remark. He made her comfortable and realized that he was hungry. He thought that it was a bad decision to leave the Dhaba. However, as he could not do anything now, he decided to go around and look for some fruits. He saw Khushi sleeping and went near her to tell her that he will be back after hunting for some food. Khushi became nervous and got scared. She didnt want ARnav to leave her alone. Perhaps she didnt want ARnav to go alone. She hold his hand and said "Mat Jayiye Na, Humein dar lag raha hai". Arnav smiled at her innocense and told her to be brave and that he will be back soon. He patted her hand and removed her hand from his hand and gave her a smile. He had just walked few seconds that he heard Khushi's scream. He saw some boys were trying to take her with them and were taking her away from him. He saw swords in their hands but didn't get scared. He ran towards his Khushi to save her from the goons.
