Kratika Sengar approached for Shobha Somnath Ki

Kratika Sengar who won critical acclaim for her role Jhansi in Zee TV's historical series Jhansi Ki Rani has now been approached for yet another historical saga. The producers of Shobha Somnath Ki have approached Kratika to play the lead Shobha after the leap.

The show has not been able to garner a good response from viewers, and hence the production of the show changed hands. Siddharth Tewary's Swastik Pictures has now taken over the project and with a new producer coming in the show will see some changes.

A little birdie informs us: "The show will go through some changes including the storyline and characters. A 16 year leap will be introduced soon wherein the child actors will make way for grownups. The makers of the show are keen on signing Kratika who rose to fame with Jhansi Ki Rani. She has been approached to play the grown-up Shobha in the show."

But when i read this article...
I was in ninth heaven...
I really want to see kratika Di as the grown up shobha...
Hope kratika Di accepts the offer...

this is not a good idea. Same actress playing for similar kind of strories does not make a good approach. I feel as if the production house is lacking originality. They think that they can ride on the fame of Jansi Ki rani's actress. Why can't they find a new actress to play shobha other than the customery role denoted by Kratika? we need a fresh face...not the reaincarnation of Jansi ki rani. The two heroins are not the same but audience always have a connection of the role with the actress. We need a fresh face as shobha!! And no offence but she does NOT look like shobha. She fit in perfectly with the dusky Laxmi bai. but NOT AT ALL with Shobha. WE NEED A FRESH FACE FOR SHOBHA!

this is not good idea kratika will become stereotype for that
