Looks like there will be a past love story for Dr.Ashutosh if this interview is true!

this is what MB said in an a interview!

What prompted you to take up Kuch Toh Log Kahenge?

I liked the story, which is not run-of-the-mill and the role, which suits my age. I play middle-aged Dr Ashutosh who has tremendous problems when it comes to emotional commitment. There's a back-story to him as he is an orphan and the person who took care of him has abandoned him for some reason, which I cannot reveal at this point. Even the girl he had loved has left him.😲 Against this backdrop, he finds himself getting attracted to a girl almost half his age. He starts questioning his sensibilities and his insecurities show up when a younger man comes into the picture.

So I guess we will see an ex-lover of Ash ( who ditches him ) & a young man for Nidhi in future. Not a surprise though! Or else how can they drag a 13 episode show into 250 episodes😆

oh gosh...is it serious...omg.i guess he had a love past...oh no...well that's y he is like this to mallika...gosh...thanks for sharing...not can't wait for this suspense to get over..

oh so dats it ! i feel pity fr mallika.. though she loves him sincerely he s nt willing to accept her love... n also he wil be attracted to nidhi tooo...

Err..um this is such a predictable storyline...I wish it was just restricted to the fact that after his Baba's demise he had retreated into a loner phase where he can't seem to get attached to anyone else, and hence just lives his life as a routine..without thinking much about finding love and settling down..

Really? Maybe its too soon to adjudge, but that angle sounds too cliche too me. I'd sooner have him as someone whose shunned love from his inner inhibitions all this time, and falls in love when it comes from a quarter least expected - makes tons of sense showing him not falling for Mallika but for Nidhi in that argument. With Mallika, he's had every reason to be on guard. WIth Nidhi - he will be caught unaware!

or may be this lady ditched him BEFORE his baba's death coz she realised he was an orphan😕

And yes, very much that. I'm not a stickler to the idea of 'purity' of first love and all that goes with it - but in this particular case, the entire difference of this love story will somehow be defeated for me, if Ashutosh is shunning love because he's had a sour experience, and not simply because he's a reticent guy, who is now unexpectedly set to be un-tamed at the hands of a polar opposite character of all abandon like Nidhi...

awwh 😔 y can't such shows b straight up to d point. yea maybe to pull it frm 15 to 250 episodes. but i totally lack patience yaar...abhi itna sab kuch dekhna hai, b4 AshNi start likin each other? noohh wayyy 😔
