Amitabh Bachchan plans to offer a diamond-studded bracelet set worth
a stunning Rs 9 crore as a gift to Lord Venkatesh at the Tirupati
temple, as thanksgiving for his recent recovery from diverticulitis.

After his discharge from Lilavati Hospital a few months ago,
Bachchan and his family visited Tirupati to pray for his health.
APVN Varma, public relations officer of the temple, confirmed that
Bachchan had decided to make the offering on that visit. Bachchan's
personal jeweller will design the bracelet, based on specifications
from the temple.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has sent specifications for the
diamond-studded bracelet to the jeweler, who visited the temple a
month ago.

A source close to the Bachchans said the family was likely to visit
the temple within the next fortnight.

tfs- thats a cool gift, but i think they could help out in a better way than a bracelet. they could start a religious school or something for orphans- idk, a bracelet seems like a waste to me
