PART 2 THE VERBAL WAR... 5.30 PM Cafeteria... She was genuinely happy today.The first time in her life she didn't have a very disastrous day.Except losing the way for her class and bumping into an unknown stranger and reaching the class 30 mts late and being caught by Prof.Samson while bunking and spilling ketchup in the light lavender top at lunch and lastly getting bullied by Shane,her day was perfect... All she needed now was a cup of cappuchino.She went to the pantry and grabbed a mug and made her way towards the table to join her friends and for the second time today ended up bumping int him.To add up more spice,the coffee she held got spilt in the white top she'd changed at lunch... She looked at him with bloodshot eyes and started shooting curses at him in Hindi. "kuthe!!!kaminey!!!pata nahi where they keep their eyes and walk.Hey bhagwan!"she looked at him again to see him shoot angry glares at her with his arms crossed over his chest.. "Geet!darro math!!Woh sirf ek insaan hai!!!tum jaise.woh Loch Ness Monster nahi hai!!So maintain ur composure!!"she said to herself and gulped her saliva. "What did u call me???kutthe?kaminey?mein bhi ek Indian hoon.So next time use some other language to curse me.Samjhi tum?"he asked her. "Oh!U wanna know why I cursed U???look at my top!!Its only because of u its spoilt.Do u know how much it costs???I've saved my one month salary to buy this!!Its branded.Its b.r.a.n.d.e.d!!!"she looked as if she was going to burst into tears.. It was true that she'd worked as a waitress in a restaurant last summer and she'd saved her salary of $100.25 and spent it on her top.She looked at him again.She could sense the change of expressions from anger to softness. "Suniye ji!!I don't need Your money.Its my mistake too.I should've also looked where I walk."She gave the money back to him.
"Shall we start it again???From the first?"He asked her while she nodded her head vigourously.
"Hi!I'm Maan,Maan Singh Khurana.I've come here to do my MBA.You are?"
"I'm Geet,Geet Handa.I'm doing my degree in Architecture and those are my frnds over there.Do you mind joining us??"She asked him.
"No,not at all!!"he said as they moved towards the table to join Rebecca,Steve,Rachel and Daniel..
