His Smile - A Poem

Once in a while I get the urge to write a little poetry particularly if a scene or a character resonates with me. (more often than not, Barun is involved, I ain't gonna lie) As with everyone else, I died for ASR's smile today. It was gorgeous. It gave us a glimpsei into the prank playing Chote of yore...and anticipation of his rebirth once again.

Why would anyone throw chappals ? lol..I hope his smile is not the haleys comet like you mentioined in your other post.😆..want to see it like everyday now 😳...even if Khushi has to act silly.🤣

What amazing poetry. Such a wonderful description of his emotions and hers when she sees him smile. His self inflicted frost and she is his summer. Very nice.

So, before I bore you to death and your head hits the keyboard, here is my little jaunt into the poetry of ASR's smile:

It burst forth from within him

Long kept hibernating

Hidden in the vault

of things once been

Like sunshine's rays

It charms the soul

A tingle felt from days

long melted and gone

As moonlit waves crash

and sparkle in dreams

The grin glistens in glory and

the soft eyes twinkle

for her.

The throaty laugh

is gravelly warm

Rushing out, free at last

Serving witness for her,

A hidden heart still beats.

It captivates her

She watches the glimmer

savors the fleeting sight

of his dawning spring.

All done before the smile

Vanishes under the cover

of brooding clouds and his

self inflicted frost.

It is decided.

She will be his summer.
