Saas Bina Sasural achieves 200 landmark
Sony TV's popular comedy-drama show Saas Bina Sasural completed 200 episode and the lead stars Aishwarya Sakhuja aka Toasty and Ravi Dubey aka Tej couldn't help grinning.
We caught up with the stars on what they think about achieving a milestone, how they celebrated and more…
An excited Aishwarya reveals, "Every day is a celebration for us on the sets. However, we celebrated this occasion the usual way by cutting the cake. Right from the writer to actors and directors got together, so it was fun."
The show also happens to be Sony's most popular fiction show and Aishwarya agrees, "I don't want sound biased because I work for the show but Sony has always been brave while picking up different content. Finally it paid off. I'm glad that our show is doing well, touch wood. But I also hope the new show launching today, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge does well in the days to come."
However, Ravi Dubey doesn't agree and adds, "Sony's fiction show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is equally popular. Of course, there are many other shows including reality shows which are hits. But as far as only fiction is concerned, most of their shows have been hit."
But undoubtedly their chemistry is hit. "Screen chemistry is for viewers to decide but off-screen, we definitely share a close friendship and help each other all the time," says Aishwarya.
Ravi, too praises his co-star. "She's like a guy. We are back-slapping buddies and of course, this chemistry reflects on-screen as well," he says.
