I guess short of doing physical violence to Bani, this was his way of manhandling her and showing his anger. Totally unacceptable. Yet, knowing Jai Walia's character, I wonder if he would ever have resorted to real violence. I think he is shattered and unable to fathom that Bani could have an affair.
