arnav and akash don't have the same last name?

hi guys...

why do akash and arnav have the same last name "raizada"

arnav would have the same surname as his dad...not his mum and their family i.e. this mami mama n nani

can some one throw some light on this...did i miss something??

does he get on with his paternal family i.e dadi, dada

Akash would have the same last name as Nani, Mami, and Mama, and generally Arnav would have the same last name as his Dad, but if his Dad is an evil character and killed his mother, I think Arnav may have changed to his mother's surname, which would be the same as Akash's.

Mami is daughter in law as far as I've understood (she says saasu ma or however you spell that). So Akash's dad and Arnav's dad are brothers.. so that's the reason for the same surname...methinks

No, I think it was revealed in an episode that Akash's dad is the brother of Arnav's mother. That's why Arnav and Anjali refer to Nani as Nani, while Akash refers to her as Dadi.

He took the mother's family name after his uncle threw him and his sister out of their family mansion after the death of his parents snatching all his proterty from him.

He went to buy the Pushtoni haveli from his uncle under the name of Raizada the Nani's last name as the Nani took them under her care after the his paternal uncle threw him out of their home. He was disgusted at his father's family to leave their last name to them.

Arnav did not leave his own last name becasue of his father's betrayal or something.. He left it becasue his father's family kicked them out and left them on the street after his parents died and Naniji raised them up and he was raised as Raizada and he kept it as a respect to Naniji I think..

If he was upset at his Dad for betraying his mom he would not do puja on the barsi and put the garland on his picture.

He is upset at his partents for leaving them orphan in the world. that is why he always keeps his sister with him and tells her that she is his whole family and the thought of her leaving him makes him lifeless... and he always tells that he would do anything anything for the sake of his sister.

As being orphaned at that young age his sister took care of him like a mom and he took care of her like a dad.. As a young man it was hard for him to cop with the death of his parents and also protect and feed his only family left to him that is his sister and at that point the father's family kicked both the orphan kids out of their family home and Naniji brought them in to raise them u giving all the love of mom.

Arnav's surname was Malik (dad's surname).. after his chacha threw him and Anjali out of the house (after their parents died i guess), he changed to Raizada... it was shown in the first epi..
