Lata, Sree,Mink, Jingle, Miss England ,Lalgulab, I agree with all of you, those are beautifull words Lata, yes every occasion in life should be celebrated sp being thankfull to our parents whose selfless love and sacrificies have made us what we are, as a child growing up in India we did not celebrate father's day, it was not till few years back when I immigrated to US , that I came to know of both Father's day and mother's day , but by then it was late, I had lost both my parent's , and though thanked them for all they had done all along , never got the oppurtunity to celebrate this sp. occasion, so to all the forum member;s dont miss the oppurtunity of your life, make all efforts to celebrate and let your Dad know how much he means.Dad this is for you and all the Dad's in this universe.

My father is not there with me physically, but my father-in-law had filled in that gap, but he is also no more with us physically. May God Bless them!

But no problem my husband is a father now and until my son can buy a gift for him own his own I will do it on his behalf. 😊 😉

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DADDY Dear Lata, It's such a nice post that you have put today. Thanks to all you friends in the forum who have penned such beautiful thoughts. I called up my Dad to wish him a Happy Father's Day. It is at such times I miss my parents a lot, how I wish that I was staying close to them, how I wish that I could do something more for them. At times I feel that all I can do is to pray for them and God keep them Happy and Healthy always.

i am wishing you a restful day that brings a peaceful heart, a contented soul that leads to genuine happiness and a lifetime of memories as happy as the ones you have given me.

😆 Yeah Vidya very true, when we are far away we realise how much we take them for granted during our childhood and how they have only loved and thought about their children and loved them selflessly.

Its thanks to Lillydi that such posts are put up in this section. She used to always come up with such thoughtful posts for every occassion and offcourse thanks to IF and our wonderful mods here cause of whom all this is possible.
