Are the Best things in life really free?

It may seem a fallacy to regard the best things in life as being free. A lot depends on what we value most. Material goods have a price tag and to achieve mental peace we need a decent income to foot our bills.
Religion teaches us to be unattached and control our desires but in this modern world we have to compromise some of these guidelines.
Still we first need to know what is really the best things in Life.
What are the best things in life?

the best thing in life is love.. which i think is not free... sometimes it costs pain, hardness and things which we ppl dont even understand!

Nothing is free in life Summerji...and definitely the best things in life...if there in no money investment ...there is an emotional investment...

It actually depends on what exactly we want. Many people value the price rather than the things. Some people value emotions. It depends on us to think what the valuable thing is.
On one point of time, we have all the things which we once wanted in life, have a heavy price tag, but it really doesn't matter to us then.
Therefore, one cannot tell which is the best thing, cause we hardly aren't sure what we want in our life.

We know the Universe is only a stage with plenty of tamasha, but we cannot untangle ourselves. Love of the parents is free at least😆
Lucky air is also free. Oh I love breathing fresh air and drinking fresh water, but these days there is too much pollution. 😭

Some city guys retire to remote villages to enjoy nature, simple life. But I wonder how long can city folks take such a life of inactivity; soon they meet Yama Uncle ji.
Even sanyasins carry money these days.
We we lead a worldly life we need material essentials.

If we say the best thing in life is God, still His Agents charge a lot of money and fees for Arati n prayers.😆
Basic necessities need money but spiritual pursuit is free, provided we do not work too much.

I don't really believe in aartis and spending money in pujas, it's all about faith. I hardly visit any temple, but I don't find that my marks getting low, cause of that, but I have enough faith. :)
