The Telugu film industry in Hyderabad was shaken with shocking news on Saturday that a woman journalist filed a sexual harassment case against Yuvasamrat Akkineni Nagarjuna, the heart-throb of girls in the industry.

The scribe, Sunitha Chowdary, who regularly contributes film reports and reviews to national daily The Hindu for its Hyderabad edition, lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police against Nagarjuna under Section 506 (illegal confinement of a person) and Section 509 (outraging the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.

The police have registered the case against Nagarjuna and are investigating. The details of what exactly had happened between the woman reporter and Nagarjuna and where are not exactly known.

But inquiries revealed that Sunitha Chowdary, who is also a member of the State Film Censor Board, reportedly complained to the police that Nagarjuna had harassed her mentally and physically and abused her in filthy language.

The girl has switched off her mobile for other scribes.

Is that really sexual harassment? I am not sure. He used the f-word on her and threatened to kill her if she writes again and looks like used his middle finger on her. Seems like "plain harassment" to me.

Woah, Nagarjuna doesn't look like a guy who will harrass someone like that for no reason. He seems like a cool guy. But we never know.

But anyway, that isn't really sexual harrassment. It's like he verbally abused and threatened her.

whoa...nagarjuna is such a family man though...hes always so chilled out and cool...

He isn't that much of a family man as is believed. He divorced his first wife, living with his second one presently. Also rumoured to have an extra-marital affair with Tabu. He apparently gifted her a home in his neighbourhood in Hyderabad. Probably the reason why Tabu is still unmarried at 40.

yeh but wasnt tht because he had an arranged marriage first and turns out his first wife was crazy who used to harass him everyday and his in laws themselves told him to just divorce her and lead a peaceful life..

as for tabu...the rumors have always been there, but neither of them clarify their relationship...all they say is they that are very special to each other...and even his wife invites her home a lot of times..
