Shwetas debut as cop-indya.com

The usually glamorous Shweta plays the role of a cop in the show and has therefore kept her look simple. Speaking about the character the actress says "I am playing Inspector Archana Chaggan Mittal in Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo. I have never played the role of a cop before so this role excited me. Also the look is very simple, like policewomen normally dress. I am wearing minimal makeup with hair tied up into a bun and absolutely no jewelry. It is a good change as normally women on television have to wear heavy saris and jewelry and I too did so for my previous shows."

So what preparations has Shweta done to get into the character? "No preparations as such but yes it took me some time to learn to pronounce certain words in Marathi. I can't afford to get the accent and pronunciation wrong so I had to work on it. Certain words are tough to pronounce but I am trying to make it look as authentic as possible."
