Daksh has his parting words requesting Naina to change her mind, but she tells him, that she has to go. His mother comes up, and asks him to come out, and then she tells him, that he should go and pacify Sonakshi. Daksh refuses, but she puts him a tough choice, either to love and obey her, or to leave the house and break all relationship with her. He replies that in order to cherish her love, he will go but warns her solemnly that the steps she has taken, will make her realize that she will have done the greatest mistake of her life, as she has refused to listen to him, or his explanation of the facts, and walks down, and she is stunned into thinking, but she herself is suffering from a self inflicted trauma, where she has given all reign to her emotion, and a complete bed rest, for her intellectual faculty of reasoning.
There is a lengthy sequence of parting, well caught on the camera with inane dialog, meant to evoke emotion in the viewer, but the plot has been exposed so much in advance, nothing makes an impact, except on the characters, who are shown to be stunned and stupefied. Thus, there is no point to give details of what happens in this scene, as it is more a dramatized effect, and sufficient to say, that Naina has sympathetic words for Akruti and Vedant. She wishes good bye to the men, starting with Mr. Patwardhan senior, who for the first time in this serial is shown to have made a misjudgement of character, where he is made to say all wrong things, accusing Naina. Anyone who sees him, will sympathize with this character, for his unseemly haste in passing judgement. She goes to Sridhar and he is kind to her, which is a relief in this scene, in telling her that he is not able to pay her advance money as he has spent all he has and promises to send her a money order. He promises to give her the train fare, but she ignores him. She has a polite parting wish to Sanket, and just looks at his wife and moves on. She does not have any thing to say to the mother of Akruti. As Vibha is transfixed in a gloomy and distant face , more commiserating on her own misfortune, for having loved and invited a homeless girl, to her house, and lavished all her misguided affections on her, but this girl is sincere, and brings back to her the gift she gave her to remember her by. She leaves it on the table, and when she bends to touch her feet, the lady, pulls her feet back, and gives the impression that all the show of love in the past, was just a mirage, and has evaporated in her self indulgent flagellation of self pity. None in this mournful house, has any memory of what this so called outsider did for them, by giving all her savings, of eight lakhs to settle their problem. It is a galling sight, of ingratitude.
In Joshi-residence, Sonakshi is sitting, waiting for her beau and her scheming mind is working at full speed. Her father comes and slumps on the sofa, and then sees a card on the table, and tears it and throws it to the ground and tells his wife, to stop all plans for the marriage. His daughter stands up and confronts him, and displays a schizophrenic tendency, and shouts at him and threatens her father, and tells that he should back out. The mother tries to tell her, that Daksh does not love her, but she is in her own world, and tells them, she wants Daksh, he is hers, and she will go to any length, to get him. When Daksh comes to the room, she takes him aside and wants to speak to him alone, and he like a goat led to the slaughter house, walks with her. The mother and father seem to see a new side of their daughter, and perhaps wonder, if she needs psychiatric help.
Naina picks her bags and goes out. On the way, she gives a fond look at her dear friends Akruti and Vedant, who understand her better than all the rest of the people in this 'mad house'. When Naina reaches the main door, Rohini comes to her and gives her a parting greeting. "What are you waiting for ? Your Daksh is where he has to be, with Sonakshi. And you will be where you ought to be, out of this house. Get out." Naina looks at her with indifference, since thinks that she too is a psychiatric case.
In the pre-cap: Naina has called the taxi. Daksh is back, and they exchange a few words, Naina is telling him, to accept the parting. She sits in the taxi and the taxi drives off. It is tempting to speculate the future, but it will be a Fan Fiction, than an update. So let us leave it at this.
