Drishhh, bang on!
I'm lost with so many topics on that scene, so gonna keep it short.
Agreee 100%, Khushi needed that outlet to express her true feelings, to show her grief, cause at home, she's busy being the strong, responsible daughter and sister. Somehow, despite everything, she saw something in ASR that makes her open up her heart in front of him, something she NEVER did in front of anyone else, not even Payal. She tells him how much she still misses her parents, and I think this was a MAJOR step from Khushi's side. She needs someone to hear her out, and ASR did just that. He related to her, and clearly felt for her seeing the tears in his eyes.
I just said it in another topic, that Khushi shares all that with ASR, cause she probably thinks deep down that he'd be able to relate to her.
And it was indeed a HUGE weight lifted off her, and just like ASR's mask fell off his face in the mandir scene in front of her, Khushi's mask fell from her face in this scene. And Arnav saw that behind that smiling, jolly face, there exists a lonely heart, who keeps the child alive inside her so that she can feel her parents close to her.
Ishuuu! yes, Arnav can definitely relate to her..he was completely broken on the day of the barsi, i can barely imagine how he actually felt the day his parents died. After their death, Arnav became ASR, after Khushi's parents died, she continued to be a bubbly, joyous girl..pretending that she's extremely happy, hiding all her fears behind that smile..she was probably never strong enough to lift that mask from her face..just like Arnav. But someones, one just can't stop oneself..like Arnav couldnt see that child crying for her father in the mandir scene, Khushi could help but share her pain with Arnav because he would understand. Yes, exactly..she needed someone to listen to her..someone who would actually understand her pain..and she found that person in Arnav. When he said sorry, it did come straight from his heart..because he understood that she felt the same pain he did, if not worse. So happy that she told him her side of the story..this is going to be a turning point in their life.
