i'm going to keep this short as i need to rush back to my books, so just going to say..i'm SO glad that Khushi told whatever she did to Arnav, not because that was what caused him to actually say sorry, but because a weight has been lifted off her chest. She tells Arnav how she was 8 when her parents died in a car crash, and how she always thought that they had just gone somewhere and so would come back, as she didn't know the meaning of 'death' then. She tells him how she now thinks that they're up in the sky as stars so she's kept stars over her bed, how she's scared of speeding cars, of sleeping alone and of the darkness.

She would never have been able to tell anyone else this, because she fears that they would feel ungrateful, as they have been so loving to her. It's not only Arnav who's worn this mask to protect him from the world, Khushi has too, except Khushi pretends to be a very jolly person, spreading smiles around her. Somewhere inside her, she too is scared and lonely, inspite of all the love she gets from her jiji and amma-bauji and buaji...but she misses her real parents alot, everyone would right...because no matter how loving your foster parents are..they dont complete the void left by your parents.

And now, thanks to Arnav she said all this, these feelings that she bottled within her have been brought out in the open..it doesn't matter that she said to laad governor, she did say it. One always needs someone who they can open up with..because oppressing your feelings just adds to your misery..so i'm extremely happy that Khushi did tell everything to Arnav..a weight she's been carrying around for years has finally been lifted. And this is definitely the turning point in ArHi's relation with each other..looking forward to how the CVs take this track ahead!

P.S.- both Sanaya and Barun were fabulous in the scene...emotional scenes has always been Sanaya's forte..she brings out her characters feelings so well with her expressions! And Barun, i loved how he had tears in his eyes...because he could relate to it..except that he atleast had his di, Khushi had no one..and i think he realised that! Brilliant acting! Brilliant epi

True, khushi hides her vulnerable self.I did think that the scene was slightly out of the place,I get why she would not tell all this to her family but why did she blurt all of this out in front of arnav?
May be she didn't like how hard it was to say sorry for him while she had made her apology quite easily.Cute scene nonetheless, good acting too.
I thought it was funny how khushi said now you know everything about me, now say sorry, haha this girl

Also noticed how she said why would ASR say sorry to someone like her, some self esteem issues ahead in their love story?Reminded me of Gunjan.

Drishhh, bang on!
I'm lost with so many topics on that scene, so gonna keep it short.

Agreee 100%, Khushi needed that outlet to express her true feelings, to show her grief, cause at home, she's busy being the strong, responsible daughter and sister. Somehow, despite everything, she saw something in ASR that makes her open up her heart in front of him, something she NEVER did in front of anyone else, not even Payal. She tells him how much she still misses her parents, and I think this was a MAJOR step from Khushi's side. She needs someone to hear her out, and ASR did just that. He related to her, and clearly felt for her seeing the tears in his eyes.
I just said it in another topic, that Khushi shares all that with ASR, cause she probably thinks deep down that he'd be able to relate to her.
And it was indeed a HUGE weight lifted off her, and just like ASR's mask fell off his face in the mandir scene in front of her, Khushi's mask fell from her face in this scene. And Arnav saw that behind that smiling, jolly face, there exists a lonely heart, who keeps the child alive inside her so that she can feel her parents close to her.

why was it out of place? She was frustrated..she needed to say this because she's kept this inside her for many many years..and the longer its kept inside for, the more frustrated she would be. Noow, she finally met someone who could possibly relate and understand her pain, who's pain she could understand..she most important reason she told Arnav was because he would understand..he went through the same thing didn't he? she wanted someone to know that she too feels sad...she put up this mask for the world that people don't really think she's much affected by the death of her parents..because she's so happy and she has a veryy loving family. So i didn't find it out of place at all, infact i was super glad she told him everything!

@the self esteem issues- well yes, but more than the self esteem is going to be the social standing..he's at the very top..shes nowhere..Anjali and Nani love her, but mami hates her..so that again may cause some problems..but all this is a LONG way from now! :P

exactly Aashi! i was so glad when she told him everything..because both of them can relate to each others pain..they both know how it feels to lose your parents..the grief, the loneliness everything! And yes, it was brilliantly portrayed by both Sanaya and Barun! wonderful scenee!
