What is weird is none of the bundelas asked to see the live baby (when it was presumably alive) and none of the bundelas asked to see the dead baby.
Dont you atleast want to see and hold the dead baby, even if dead? And even for dead baby what is to happen? Is it to be thrown in hospital dustbin. Bundelas still have to do antim sanskaar dont they?

And why is the baby in that room with all the other cradles? There is a cradle in ichcha's room.
And why is the doctor not curious. Even if there was a dead baby -- someone else must have lost it, so they will have to give those parents back a dead baby too. There is still a baby count. I can understand an exchange in the hospital between two mothers ... but here, in the baby count, there will be one baby less because nani has taken the child out of the hospital.
