Joshi gives an ultimatum, and tells them that he never expected this from them. His parting advice is that they should not trust outsiders more than themselves. He walks away with his family.
Vibha starts accusing Naina, and asks her if she loves Daksh. Finally Naina tells her that she does. Rohini tries to butt in, but Vibha has her own grievance, and feels hurt, that all this has happened under her very nose and she has not noticed, and she considers that it was Naina who took advantage of her kindness, and she makes up her mind, and asks her to leave. Rohini is very happy. Naina is hurt as well, but she assumes the hitgher moral ground, and goes up to pack up to leave, as she feels that as it was Vibha who brought her into this house, it was her right to send her away as well. Whatever may be the sense of this logic, it suits well the crowd in the Patwardan household. All are looking dumb faced at the angry lady, and when any one wants to say anything, they are silenced.
Kaka comes out with his own grievance against his sister in law, for not considering his plight. He has to pay Naina three months advance rent, and he has spent all he has on his daughter. He walks away in disgust. Daksh takes a pot shot at Rohini and tells her that she was hand in glove with Sonakshi, who is from head to toe, immersed in lies. The mother suddenly, feels her devoted son is wrong, and stops him from attacking Rohini.
Rohini carries the news to Sonakshi, and tells her that her mother in law has sent Naina out of the house, and she gloats, and the other one is excited. I had a feeling that the sling was back on her hand, just as the drug packet was forgotten, they also forgot that she claimed to her mother, that the doctor had told her that her hand was fine. May be I am wrong. There is a moment of 'silent dialog' at the end of which, Rohini tells that Sonakshi should have been a politician.
In spite of everyone asking Vibha to think calmly, she refuses to change her mind. Naina is busy in her room, packing and Daksh goes to tell her to change her mind, but she is up in the clouds, half hurt, half sentimental, and confused, saying it is her duty to go according to his mother's wishes. Daksh tells her that if he leaves, he too will leave with her.
In the meant time, Rohini has come to the hall, and tells them, that Sonakshi has shut herself in her room, and is not in a sound mental state, and asks that Daksh be sent to her to rescue her. The dumb lot have nothing to say, only Akruti is suspicious of Rohini. The stupified mother says, she is right, and tells she is going up to meet Daksh and ask him to go to Sonakshi.
Pre-cap: The mother tells Daksh to leave to Sonakshi's house, and if he does not go, then he could know, that she will break all relationship with him. Daksh had told her that she would regret her actions when one day, she will realize who was right and who was lying. But we are not shown what the answer of Daksh is to his mother.
