thursday Episode 363

My computer seems to have a mind of its own - it has suddenly started working again, and my son says this definitely points to a virus - what do you all think?

Update for Friday, Sep 23, 2011:

Anu returns home, to be welcomed by arathi done by Rukku, and a super clean house, and she is surprised that Nivedha has done it all. Nivedha says that Manju and Santhosh helped her.

Bhaskar is mad at Prem so he wants to go and talk directly to RR. Narayanan comes in, tells Bhaskar not to come there again and he is giving the new project to someone else.

Sundu is telling Jenny that it is difficult to get manpower for this project. Bhaskar goes there, and tells them to give him a 1% commission from their profits, or else he will not let their project get finished on time. Jenny tells him to get out, he swears to see them (paarthukaren - what else?)

Palli at the temple, her friend comes to see her and wants to know why she is upset, any problems with hubby? (since when do women ask such personal questions, even of their closest friends?) Palli tells her that her parents and hubby have cheated her, and tells all. Friend tells her to make sure she gets all of RR's sotthu, and the temple bell rings.

Palli is thinking about her friend's words and asks Karthi to get her the lawyer's number (phone bookai thirandhu number theda theriyaadhaa?), so she can get the property divided. Sivagami tries to stop her, but who has ever stopped Palli? She picks up her notebook, flips through, sees that the lawyer's number has been scratched out, and says she will definitely get the property divided, and leaves. Sivagami confesses to karthi that she was the one who scratched out the lawyer's number, and tells him to talk to Shreenidhi, since she is the only one who can talk to Palli and get some sense into her head!

I may have left out some stuff in my hurry to do it while the computer is still functioning, so please fill in the gaps if I have left out something.

Update for Tues, Sept 27, 2011 - episode 366:

Rukku updates Paati and of course, Paati is furious, but she says that her Anu will never come to the center street (nadu theru) because she has deeded her late husband's property to Anu (isn't that the property which Anu transferred to the orphanage? What is happening there now? I thought it was to be a temporary transfer)

Palli's house - everyone is on hunger strike - Sivagami, Priya and Karthi (Thatha has disappeared again! Obviously, he no longer wants to be a part of this tamasha!) They feel she should not have demanded the division of the property, she says it is for their sakes that she had to resort to this. They say she should have consulted with them, she says they did not consult with her for anything, not when Karthi fell in love with Shree, so she also does not feel the need to consult with them. She joins them on hunger strike, but not in dressing up, she is decked out in a silk sari and jewelry, jimikkis included!

Anu sitting on her bed, RR brings a plate of food (why does she have to wrap her sari around her head like this, she didn't do it in the hospital). She wants a family portrait to be taken and hung in the living room and asks RR if he will fulfill this wish of hers, and he has no choice but to agree. She wants it the next day and asks Nivedha to ask paati also to come the next day (no appointments needed? I didn't know photographers made house calls on such short notice).

Nivedha calls Paati and asks her to come over in the morning, but doesn't tell her why, says it is to be a "suspense". Paati agrees.

Palli sees that no one has eaten anything. Priya comes there, she is getting ready to go to college (and her backpack looks empty to me!) and asks Karthi to drop her at the bus stop. She says Manju will be waiting for her there and they can go together. Palli forbids her from having any contact with Manju, she tries to explain that Manju is a good girl, but Palli won't listen. Sivagami says she is going to the temple to search for mana nimmadhi (this is about 25 years too late, why didn't you think about it when you talked RR into marrying your daughter without disclosing that he was a widower?) Palli does a round of emotional blackmailing, saying that everyone is against her, she has been left all alone because Gomathy amma has successfully separated her from her husband (how did this become Gomathy amma's doing?), and now everyone is supporting Anu and her children and RR, and starts weeping. Priya comes up and tells her that she will always have her support.

Though I feel somewhat sorry for Palli, she is responsible for all this in a large way, because of her obstinacy and refusal to listen to anyone other than herself.

Update for Wed, Sept 28, 2011:

Paati is waiting for an auto. One stops beside her, and Sivagami gets out. Paati turns her face, Sivagami asks about Anu, and Paati accuses her of having done drogam to Anu, if you are so concerned about her, go see for yourself.

Sivagami in Anu's house, she goes in and sees RR there. Nivedha and Manju fall all over her and greet her. RR asks about Palli, and is told that she is being stubborn (and this is news?). Anu introduces her to Paati and to RR, and Sivagami greets them with a guilty look. Anu asks if Palli is angry with her. Time for the photo shoot, Anu insists on Sivagami also being in the photo and seats her on the couch beside Paati and herself. Smiles, everyone!

RR signs the documents for the new project. This news is conveyed to Bhaskar by Narayanan's manager.

Rukku comes and sees Jenny on her way in, both leave their vehicles in the middle of the road, blocking the road completely, and go in. Rukku updates RR and crowd about Palli's demand, to get Anu's house. Sundu says that if Palli thinks that sotthu is more important than RR, then go ahead and divide the sotthu. Jenny is shocked and says she will go and talk to Palli.

Jenny goes to Palli's house and gets kicked out ceremoniously by Palli!

Bhaskar comes to see RR, and tells him to drop the new project or else!

Update for Fri, Sept 30, 2011: episode 369

RR goes into Anu's room, she is sleeping, he wakes her up and tells her they should move out of this house because it has no rasi (veedu rasi illai!). Anu flatly refuses, says she is okay now, this house has been her friend when all of them have gone on their separate errands, this house is her protection, her refuge, so don't talk about this again. RR is wondering what he can do now.

Rukku lying in bed with all her makeup on, her elaborate hairdo, her bindi with something dangling in it, her eye liner intact and her sari all neatly pinned up! Ganesh comes in and asks what the matter is, he tells her that Palli has called RR over to her house, so it looks like she has changed her mind and forgiven him. Rukku says that is not the case. She tells him about Palli's visit to their house and her new demand that Ganesh should drop out of the project and it should be given to Karthi. Ganesh feels he should drop out and let it go to Karthi.

RR and Anu - the photos have arrived, RR looks at them, Anu looks at them, everyone looks at them. Paati comes, she too looks at the picture where Sivagami is sitting next to her and remarks on the black spot, which Anu is unable to find! Anu calls up Palli, who disconnects the call, she calls again and this time Palli answers. Anu wants to know why Palli hasn't come to see her (never heard of such a stupid question!), Palli says she wasn't feeling well, Anu promptly says that she will come there with her hubby, and Palli stops that, saying she herself will come the next day. Anu is pleased.

Palli' house - the lawyer has come and he wants to talk to her. As usual, Palli tells him not to interfere in their personal affairs and tells him to leave. Karthi comes there, and asks the lawyer to do what his mother suggested - leave!
