I've read an article ref from Greek history by megasthenes that CGM was a contemporary of Alex and revolted against him. he was a soldier in his army. But why he revolted? Even fought a war with alex and lost. Same has been shown in the show. There is no ref in indian hostory but ref is there is greek history. Though historians have dispted in this

can you refer that article???and as far i know historian calesthinis died on 328 b.c...how can he give poison to alex??

Instead of Chandragupta Maurya setting up the Mauryan Empire following Alexander's retreat there is evidence to show that Chandragupta was a contemporary of Alexander and fought and lost a major battle with Alexander in Patali.

I too have read such an article... but there is no such strong evidences to prove this fact...

History of around 350 BC is not so clear to us. According to an another article which I read months ago,

it was stated that chandragupta was an Iranian!!!! and the patliputra referred in the history is actually the city Patali...hence I found it false. because after reading the whole article, the main conclusion drawn was alex never visited India if so then who was chanakya. we all know chanakya was definitely an Indian because he was a "khuli shikha wala brahman" after all...

thus it can be clearly seen that history has many versions... it is upon us how we take it...

majority of historians go for 340 bc timeline...and i think that is more relevant regarding other historical timelines too...the show makers are themselves confuse...mixing and matching things from here and there...alag alag timelines ki khichdi...but i guess timeline koi bhi follow kareing alexander never spend 6 yrs in India in any text...inki bewkoofi ki punishment ab shayad acharya chanakya k mastishk ko bhugatni padegi😡
