Yeah, today is the 3rd 🥳HAPPY BIRTHDAY🥳 of our beloved MILEY JAB HUM TUM, the show that touched and changed lives forever!!!
I know the show doesn't exist anymore on screen, but in my view, it'll never cease to exist in the hearts of us MJHTians. Such was the magic of this show. Don't u guys agree??
So let's take a walk down memory lane and relive some of the long cherished moments of the show.

This eventually introduces Samrat, the college basketball star and famous among girls, Benji, Samrat's best friend, and Mayank, who is also the dream of many girls in the college. Mayank is a silent but strong willed college student who prefers to focus on his studies, whereas Samrat is the playboy of the college. They are in constant clashes over who is more famous.
Mayank and Nupur collide in college and they give us some of the funniest moments of the show. Gunjan, on the other hand, after a few fights with Samrat, accepts him as her best friend.
Mayank and Nupur start to fall in love after a series of misadventures whereas Gunjan falls in love with Samrat but is unable to express her love to Samrat who only believes Gunjan to be his best friend.
Sheena and Ranvijay, two new students enter the college. Sheena catches Samrat's eye and they become a couple. She is jealous of Gunjan as Samrat considers her to be the most important person of her life and is constantly tormented by the way Samrat speaks about her. She tries in vain to separate the two best friends, only to end up by losing Samrat's trust followed by their break-up.
Ranvijay becomes a rival of Samrat. He has a romance track with Dia but is later revealed to be only playing with Dia's emotions, by accusing her of sleeping with him, to get back at Samrat as Dia is one of his very good friends. This entails a change in Dia as well. She becomes a true friend of Gunjan and Nupur.
Nupur and Mayank express their feelings about one another and they become a couple. Samrat in the meantime is framed for drinking and driving by Ranvijay and is in jail. The days he spent in jail, he could only think about Gunjan. Later released, he and the whole gang plan to bring the truth out from Ranvijay which turns out successful. Samrat now realizes he is in love with Gunjan and wants to get his love, but because of a misunderstanding, Gunjan leaves for Morena with Nupur, who is also upset because of a misunderstanding with Mayank.
After the sisters leave, the gang feels very lonely, therefore pursues after them. Samrat leaves Mumbai with one goal, to tell Gunjan about his love, and Mayank, to win his Nupur back. Mayank has to come back mid-way as he comes to know that his mother has lost her job due to recession. He does not inform anyone that he is leaving and Nupur thinks that Mayank brokeup with her. Gunjan and Nupur's father and aunt develop a negative opinion about Mayank. They do not approve of Samrat as well. But before leaving, Samrat convinces Gunjan's father that he is indeed a nice human being. Due to this their father also consents to send his girls back to Mumbai and everyone returns to Mumbai.
In Mumbai, the gang sort out the differences between Nupur and Mayank.After assuring Nupur of his love and commitment Mayank goes with his mother to Banglore, where she gets a new job. Nupur's family decides to get her married by sending the match to college. The match turns out to be Adhiraj, Nupur's childhood friend Bablu. Adhiraj in search of Nupur Bhushan is mistaken when he finds another girl named Nupur.
The gang takes advantage of this and makes the new Nupur into Nupur Bhushan. All backfired when it is revealed that the new Nupur is none other than Samrat's younger sister Suhani Shergill. Samrat had lived all his life in hostel as his parents had divorced when he was a child and Suhani used to live in London with their mother.
Due to this there is a quarrel between Samrat and Gunjan as he gets angry with her for withholding the truth from him even after she came to know the real-identity of Suhani. But the couple soon sorts out their differences and reunites.
Nupur is then forced into marrying Adhiraj when he agrees to marry her taking revenge in her deception. But Adhiraj soon realizes he loves Suhani a lot and decides to help Mayank and Nupur meet. Nupur's father forces Nupur to marry Adhiraj but during marriage ceremony groom-switch happens with Mayank replacing Adhiraj. After humiliation, Nupur's father agrees to Mayank and Nupur's marriage. They get married, but Nupur's father disowns her afterward as he has been betrayed and humilated by his daughter. With no where to go the new married couple turn to the gang for help settling their married life. They move into one of Samrat's houses.
Gunjan gets shot by some guys who try to molest her. Adhiraj tries to save her but is too late and Gunjan goes into a coma. The culprit happens to be the brother of a well known politician. While Gunjan is in the coma at the hospital, Nupur successfully battles the corrupted politicians to get the wrongdoers arrested and becomes the role model of Excel College. Gunjan loses the ability to walk as her feet have been paralysed. However she recovers but is still unable to walk due to post-traumatic stress. With the help of the gang, Samrat becomes successful in getting Gunjan to stand on her feet.
As a prank of a detective named D4 and Tanya a baby girl enters the life of Samrat, Mayank, Benji, Adhiraj, and Uday with a letter that falsely claims the baby's father to be one of them. After a series of mishaps the truth is revealed and Adhiraj leaves with Suhani for London after proposing her.
A famous director Neil Oberoi comes to college for auditions who's an old friend of Nupur and Gunjan and who has a soft corner for Gunjan. However, their growing closeness makes Samrat overprotective and this results in a tiff between them. Gunjan learns that Neil is in love with her by looking at his laptop.
On the other hand, Mayank and Nupur enroll for the same job scholarship and Nupur gets the scholarship. Mayank misunderstands that Nupur is pregnant. Panicked, Mayank forgets his interview and looses the scholarship. Mayank and Nupur split after a row and Nupur goes to Delhi but later they sort out their differences and retake their wedding vows. Samrat proposes to Gunjan and she accepts and they get engaged. They consummate their relationship in one passionate moment.
Mayank and Nupur decide to go to the U.S.A. As Nupur, Gunjan, Mayank and Samrat head towards the airport after Samrat-Gunjan engagement ceremony, they have a car crash in which Nupur dies, making it one of the most saddest moment on Indian television.
SEASON 2:
The story takes a leap of three years starting a new season where new characters enter. Nupur died in the car accident 3 years ago. Samrat, trustee of Excel College, starts living a disturbed and lonely life and keeps remembering Gunjan who left him after his careless driving killed her sister. Mayank on the other hand lives with the illusion of having Nupur with him and he builds an accident safe car to avoid accidents. Mayank gets an offer for the post of professor in Excel College and he eventually joins the College. He has not forgiven Samrat for his reckless driving which killed his wife. Gunjan lives her life as a caretaker at an orphanage and as a student counselor. All three of them grieve for the loss of Nupur. Ashwini is a girl who has problems in her life and is counseled by Gunjan. On Gunjan's advice she takes admission in Excel College as a student and clashes with Rohan a new student. They eventually fall in love. Riya who is Rohan's sister clashes with Nirbhay.
Dia returns and tells Mayank that she has been having weird realizations and dreams about Nupur. On Dia's behest, Mayank and Dia go to the doctor that treated Nupur and find out that there had been a mix up in the on the day of accident and Nupur might be still alive. After a lot of search, Mayank and Nupur come face to face but Mayank gets into a minor car accident and Nupur takes him to hospital but leaves before Gunjan and Samrat could see her. Later, Mayank, Gunjan and Samrat find Nupur but realize that she had memory-loss in the accident and doesn't remember any of them.
Dhruv Nupur's fianc enters and Gunjan suspects Dhruv to be their childhood friend, Chintu who had a crush on Nupur and later went crazy for her and was admitted to a mental hospital. Later Samrat finds out that Nupur did not have any memory loss, she is just pretending because she is afraid of Dhruv who was possessive of her and frequently abused her. Things come to boiling point when Dhruv tries to kill Nupur but is caught and arrested.
Mayank and Nupur joyfully reunite after 3 years as well as Samrat and Gunjan. Nupur re-joins Excel College and completes her studies. Nupur finds out she is pregnant and is afraid that it will irk Mayank. Samrat finds Nupur's pregnancy strip and confronts her and Nupur decides to reveal everyone about her pregnancy. Samrat proposes to Gunjan and she accepts and they have a Church Wedding - a lifelong dream of Gunjan. Dia, Uday and Benji return to the show for the wedding. After the marriage ceremony everyone goes to Pune. Then in Pune, Nupur goes into labour. She gives birth to twin boys. After that they talk about college life and end the show by singing the title song.
