Pooja Gor to perform at ITA Awards
Television actress Pooja Gor, aka Pratigya from STAR Plus leading prime time Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, will be performing on a retro track with Jhalak Dikhla Jaa's winner Meiyang Chang at the Indian Television Academy awards.
The rehearsals have started. Pooja is quite excited to be dancing to the iconic song–Oh Haseena Zulfo Wali. We spoke to excited cum nervous Pooja Gor about the rehearsals and her act.
"Yes, I am performing at Indian Television Academy awards with Meiyang Chang and it is a dedication to Shammi Kapoorji. In this act, there will be three pairs performing on various hit songs of Mr. Shammi Kapoor. We are performing on Oh Haseena Zulfo Wali which I feel is a very catchy song and an all time favourite. I am quite excited to perform on this iconic song. But I am very nervous too as this song had living dancing diva cum actress Helen and I hope I do proper justice to this song and everyone loves our act."
She is performing for the first time with Meiyang Chang and adds, "I will be performing with Meiyang Chang, who is the winner of Jhalak. Though during rehearsals, we didn't practice together due to our different rehearsal time but we did one rehearsal together. I haven't seen his performances in Jhalak but I have heard that he is a very good dancer. I am curious to perform with him."
Moreover, she spoke about her passion for dancing. "I like dancing and I look up dancing as the best way to lose weight. So if I feel that I have put on weight, then I take up such performances. Managing shooting for my show and rehearsals is tough. I am on the sets of Pratigya the entire day and post shoot, I rehearse. I am used to such tight schedules."
We all are keen to seen Pooja Gor and Meiyang Chang in retro avatar during the awards ceremony.
