that's soo funny only 2nd marrige girls have to wear mangal suthra in TN... Wow what a tradition our cvs put for TN ladies.

Mangalsutra is traditionally worn only in south India...In North only sindoor is compulsary...

nowdays many women wear it in north also because it has been popularised due to movies and TV shows.Its basically persoanl choice than a compulsion.

M not pretty sure about the tradition of wearing mangalsutra in the northern parts of India...
As far as South India is considered... married woman wear the sacred thread from the day one of their marriage until their husband's death.. It is different regions of the southern states but they wear it compulsorily. Sindoor is not that much compulsory in south side...
In many other Hindi Serial hav seen women wearing it especially if you guys had watched any K serials then you would hav known... they wear it.

BUT, MAIN CONFUSION HERE IS WHY THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS IN THE SAME MKAP SHOW ? IT IS SHOWN THAT MANGALSUTRA IS TIED TO ARUSHI AND GANGA DURING THEIR MARRIAGE. ARE THEY SOUTH INDAIN OR ADOPT THAT CULTURE ? THERE SHOULD BE SOME UNIFORMITY WHEN THE SHOW IS MEANT FOR THE MASSES. IT SHOULD NOT CREATE CONTROVERSY🤓
