Dil ki Baat, Zubaan par Aayi - Q & A!

Yesterday, finally we get to see what is in Jai's mind too.....and its nice to see that Mr. Walia is going the right track with regard to his wife and his feelings for her!

Jai being concerned and worried for Bani was nothing new, he is a very caring and warm person as such, but the defining moment for Jai was his confession to Aditya, that he does not hate Bani but that doesn't mean he loves her too...now, no one really asked him this, did they? Jai blurted this out and immediately clammed up realizing that he has spoken out his thoughts loudly!

Jai is not even able to deny his feelings for Bani now and who else but Aditya is the first one to notice the change in his best friend and hence prods him to confess his true emotions to Bani, which really rattles Jai!

As much as Jai tries to deny that he feels nothing for Bani, the very opposite is coming true...the look of sheer concern and anxiety on his face as he comes rushing inside his bedroom and sees Bani lying down was so well done...the gamut of expression's on his face suggesting worry, care and concern for his wife was brought out explicity by Ram! And ofcourse, how sweet was Jai to get the medicines couriered from Delhi and then lie to Bani that he did not get the medicines for her, but for himself and she can use them if she wants to.....the smile on Bani's face showed that she totally understood her husband's bad attempt at lying.....

The budding romance between Jai and Bani is indeed very endearing and what makes it so special is the slow pace and reality infused in it.....the way Bani reacts and the way Jai responds in completely in sync with their characters, both of them are introverts and people of less words...hence silence and gestures speak maximum for them!

Do you think that Jai has fallen in love with Bani or is he still in the process of getting there?

Hi MT this is the first time I am respoding to your posts. I always read them but don't reply as I have not watched the shows u r talking about yet and don't read the updates (like to keep the suspense till i get to watch them) All I have to say is ...I am soooooooooo jealous of you all in India who are already watching the cute scenes between Bani and Jai while we here in Canada are still watching Jai acting like a donkey 😉 towards Bani 😭 .

Here is my guess

Even though Bani might like the kindness Jai is starting to show to her she will not understand his being in love with her for a while. As for Jai he is completly in love with Bani... just in denial...however he will soon realize it but won't be able to show or tell Bani due to his introvert nature and the fear of being hurt again due to what happened with Pia (he opened his heart for her and she left him)!!! However, once they admit their love for one another they will be an unbreakable couple (atleast I hope so hehe)

I think the guy is on the edge of falling totally head over heels in love with Bani and he will soon realise that what he is feeling for Bani doesn't come even close to his stupid crush on her sister earlier in his life.

Not as yet, but I think soon she will. ;)

I just love it. Love the way it is taking time to develop and grow and it's not done very hastingly. I think this is exactly the point that is making this show so lovable and different from others. It's a classy tale and so lovely old fashioned. Watching KS makes you like a 5 year old watching Cinderella. You start thinking fairytales do exsist. ;)

I think Jai will be very carefull to show his love again. As he is very insecure and will be afraid to get his heartbroken again. Furthermore I think he never loved Pia but had just a crush on her. Besides Jai will stay denying being or falling in love with his wife as long as he doesn't give his feelings for Pia (being love or hatred) a place in his life. He has to close that chapter and book of his life to have the peace to start a new fairytail novel lol with Bani.

Well Bani isn't taken aback to tell her feeling. She was about to tell Pushkar she loved him when she found him messing around with her sister. Jai on the other hand doesn't express his feeling easily as was shown with the Pia thing. But after all that happened I don't think Bani will have the courage to tell even if she wanted to. As the situation now is very different from her sistuation with Pushkar. So I think and hope Jai will be the first one to confess. And I hope it will be a special confession not the typical I love u sermon, but more with gestures and body laguage something a la SRK-Kajol in KKHH! ;)

To keep the show going after it reaches its boiling point, there must surely be alot of trouble between Jai and Bani. But I think no matter what they will always love each other.

He has fallen in love with her hook, line and sinker (woh maane ya na maaane)

I can't say for sure because he is sending her mixed messages. One day he talks about divorce and them leading different lives and the next day his actions say something totally different. I myself am a firm believer that actions speak louder than words but does Bani believe that?

I would not call it the most perfect but I think it is portrayed beautifully - the flower of their love is budding one petal at a time. Very soon it will blossom to its full potential.

A little bit of both plus his own personal dialogue with himself that he is never going to fall in love ever again. There is a battle going on inside himself - his head (intellect) v/s. his heart (emotions) and he will come out of with his emotions when he finally lets his heart win.

Seeing both their characters it will mostly be circumstancial and even if they use words they will not be direct - a message will be passed and the other one will have to read between the lines.😳

Withoug doubt warm, secure and passionate. Turbulance causing entities (Jigs, Ranveer, Roshni) will be done away with. Either they will be shown their place or will have to leave the house. Once he knows what is most important and precious in his life, I would expect nothing less from Mr. Jai Walia

Well, according to me, this bonduraam has indeed fallen in luv with his lovely and gorgeous wife bani 😆😆. Lekin, being a bonduraam that he is, he is still in a denial and is uncertain about it since he recently had his heart broken courtesy of pia 😡.

Well, I have to say that jitna bonduraam jai hai, utni hi intelligent bani hai. 😆..well she is really smart enuf to realise his changing feelings towards herself. Bechari, she had got soo much used to her laddoo's temper that i m sure she mite nearly had a heart attack wen she came to know from tony regarding da medicines. Of course, she mite have got a small inkling that bonduramm cares for her atleast 😳 and that was enuf to keep dis bondurani happy n grining 😆.

My only problem is that jai needs to eats lots of badam and take care of his brain 😆😆 as he usually keeps on misunderstandin bani without a second thought. Bas, if jai starts eating badams, then i dunt have any problem with their 'buddin romance' since it will b full of romance and by eating badams jai wud hav stopped mistrusting bani..😆😆.

Well, I personally dunt think that jai is an introvert person and cannot give words to his feelings. Had this been true, then jai wudnt have proposed to pia in the first place. He luvd pia and hence proposed her, and this further means that given an opportunity, jai will not hestitate to give words to his feelings. Moreover, i personally feel that jai is actually a bit confused about his new found feelings for bani bcos of which he is unable to come out with his emotions. Also, he mite b have a fear to be rejected again by bani since bani did confess once dat age does matters to her...so even if jai manages to comes out of his emotions, he will always b holding this fear of being rejected by bani due to his age. But at da end of the day, it has got nothing to do with him being an introvert. 😊

Bani par toh mujhe poora bharosa hai ke she will always trust her patidev, lekin yeh jai ka main kya karu....this bondu will blieve any misleading and false information regardin bani and as usual keepin on barkin at her !! 😆😆 Since jai's behaviour is so unpredictable, all i can say is if he eats badams daily, then he will himself get a gud akkal on whom to support and whom not to 😆😆.

I think he is in-process of going finally there where he rightfully belongs that is in Bani's heart. I felt that even if he's trying to evade his feelings for Bani, its there in form of concern, care and love. I was touched by the way he went completely ballistic at Tony when he saw that Bani couldn't have a drink of water b'cos there was no water in the jug. My God, he's so caring. 😉
ALso, the way he lied that he had gone to the room to get a file was so endearing when in reality he had gone there to enquire after Bani.
Maybe he is not sure of the truth himself and that's why he said all that stuff to Aditya, who of course is not a fool. 😳

I think that Bani realises that equations are changing, but she is definitely confused now. She will need more time to realise that Jai's feelings for her have completely changed and that he is doing all this to protect her from some truth.

According to me, Jai Walia is a sort of person who will not take any sort of betrayal kindly. Thats why he said to Aditya that he has been betrayed by three people - Pia, Bani and Pushkar - and so he doesn't have feelings.
I think if Pia had told him beforehand that though she had accepted his proposal then, but there were some complications, probably he would have understood. Nobody will like the way he was stood up at the wedding ceremony and then forgive all these people easily.
Bani has been successful to this extent, b'cos Jai and Bani always shared a mutual respectful behaviour towards each other.

Personally i feel that Jai is confused about his feelings for Bani as at one time he says that he hates the sisters and at the same time he says that he may not hate bani...he has special feelings for her which he himself has no clue about...may be in days to come we may see Jai's realisation of his feelings for bani...

I would say that Bani has an inklination that Jai behaviour towards her has changed...she thinks that he may just care for her a little...but Jai's attitude is a suspect..as he covers his feelings very well...just like he tells her that she is not his future and at the same time he gets her the medicines...

I really like it...it shows how a dominating man like jai can become a different man where bani is concerned,where he does not mind negating roshni's chicken koftas for bani's vegetarian food..till now it is just great..hope it will be the sme if not better in the future..A silent love is the most endearing thing to watch...it touches your heart..

They will in time settle down in bliss...but frankly with so many negative elements in poor bani's life hell bent on making her life impossible...it will also be a turbulent life...and if and when she will be secure in jai's love for her and visa versa...then whatever the turbulent circumstances, they will overcome it..
