If we see the above table, every channel, Except ZEE, has 3 programs in TOP 10 list! Even Sony has finally managed to rise up with KBC. BALH is almost pushing its way thru the TOP 5. Sadly even the CC show is there in this list :((

Just a small question...the TRP info mentioned in the TAM articles/ TOP 10 Tables and the actual TAM ratings that come out later are always different. Why is it so? It happens for all the shows. The serials which are shown getting 4. something in Top 10 table...are given only 3. something in the TAM table. Even in HT papers, these TOP 10 TRP table comes and the ratings are drastically diff. Any idea why is it?

Sia they must be taking for different categrories if you see I also post 2 different categrories they must be taking north west urban population is what I am guessing I dont know for sure unless I see their base for the table

Defect in programming dept.n also bad phase going on for zee..

they have to stop repeating the storyline in diff.shows... no creativity seen in shows and therefore no interest amongst viewers... hope cb trps improve..

i think kanha is punishing them for ignoring cb hardly any promos and or scrolling on other zee tv shows of cb or for that mater in cb

Thanks for sharing guess zee tv is in the same position like last year when KBC was on. And non of their prime time show are working again except PR!

Hindi GECs dip, Star gains

MUMBAI: Star shined bright in the week ended 10 September. Not only did its Hindi movie channel Star Gold see a major surge but also Star Plus and Star One posted marginal gains in a week when the other Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) saw a dip.

Even as the GEC pecking order has remained unaffected, Star Plus ended with 307 GRPs (gross rating points) as against 300 GRPs in the preceding week.

Meanwhile, Sony Entertainment Television maintained its second position for the fourth consecutive week, although it slipped from 258 GRPs in the previous week to 243 GRPs.

Colors and Zee TV remained on third and fourth place with 233 and 182 GRPs respectively. Both the channels lost 16 GRPs each in the week.

Sab, meanwhile, has slipped down to 112 GRPs, from 117 in the previous week.

Imagine TV ended with 68 GRPs (72 in last week) while Star One closed with 41 GRPs (last week 35), as per TAM data (HSM, C&S, 4+) for the week ended 10 September.

Sahara One recorded 31 GRPs (last week 35), according to TAM data.
